Must have book! Great to share.

Jim hits this topic head on with great personal anecdotes that we can all identify with AND as a great bonus that most books DON'T HAVE he shares with us do-able, practical and bite-sized challenges that are guaranteed to make the reader a better prayer.

Jim's book is one that you can pick up and read any chapter in any order. I often refer back to sections of the book for encouragement and next steps to enhance my prayer life and to look for more challenges.

This is a great gift book for anyone who may be timid about prayer or just simply does not know where to begin. I have given out many copies of this book and each recipient has commented on how different sections of this book has made a difference in their prayer life.

BUY THIS BOOK - READ IT AND READ IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Highly recommended for those passionate about prayer.

One of the best books on prayer I've read! The author has a lively, entertaining style with a good number of personal examples from his own experience. He has great suggestions for establishing and being consistent in having a daily personal prayer time, and in recognizing and overcoming obstacles to prayer. He also outlines how to recognize the events and emotions in your life that can act to prompt you to pray throughout the day, thus developing your relationship with God on a more personal level. He doesn't merely talk about prayer, he encourages everyone to buckle down and actually get praying! I'm planning to teach a prayer course at my church using this book soon.
