Overview

While flying helicopters as a profession for over twenty
years, I was fortunate to have been able to experience a
perspective of life from a very unique platform. Within
the covers of this book, I have described ten personal
life-enhancing opportunities. These experiences took
place at various times in my career, and each provided
a principle-guided life lesson.

I selected the shared stories from the numerous
experiences I had during my approximately 10,000+
hours of flight time. Each chapter contains a learned
lesson that when applied to everyday living, will
provide direction and guidance during critical moments
that life throws your way.

As you read through each chapter, I encourage you to
begin by pondering the principle-based thought that is
written under the chapter title. In doing this, the
significance of the flight experience will be more
impactful. At the end of each chapter, contemplate a
correlation of the applied principle to your own life and
I promise you your life will be altered for the better.
