    Awesome Book! If you don't read another book of fiction this year, read this one!

    Awesome book! In Precedent the Molinsky family once again faces great trials. A son dies, a daughter rebels, another son blames himself for both. A father blames himself for everything, and a mother embraces breast cancer as a way out of it all. This book is about how they handle these trials. They aren't perfect, and they don't always handle things "right." But they are always real, and their emotions are genuine. Watching how they cope and interact with each other is a lesson in itself. It's so often easy to see your own pain, but be oblivious to the pain of others. This family has to learn to forgive each other, to forgive themselves, to give and accept love unconditionally, and above all to trust in God's goodness. Another top notch book by Paula Wiseman.

    Highly recommended - a must read!

    I've followed this series, and am always impatient for the next book to arrive. I wasn't disappointed in Precedent. As always, Paula's writing drew me in, and I really understood the struggles this family was facing. I saw myself and others in the characters, and that gave a depth and realism to the story - it's a great conversation starter for a book club and I think would lead to fascinating discussions. Paula's books stay true to life, which means they aren't always pretty, but they are real - the characters are never one dimensional - they have strengths and weaknesses, flaws and all. Don't pass up this book, and if you haven't read the first two - you will want them all!
