This Happy Day
Thank You, dear God, at the end of this day For sunshine so sunny and best friends who play, For scooters and games and sudden rain showers That left little puddles to splash in for hours. Thank You for blessing me all the day through, And thank You, dear God, for loving me too!
This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoiee and be glad today!

Good Night, Sun
God's shiny sun is leaving now For his home in the West. "Good night," he tells the pale blue sky. "I'm going home to rest." He wears God's robe of colors in Bright orange, gold, and red Then slips behind the hills so green And into his soft bed.

I Wish
I wish I were inside a tent under the moon and stars.
I wish I had a telescope so I could look at Mars.
I wish I had a shiny coin for every star I see.
I wish a man lived on the moon and waved hello to me.
I wish that I could sleep outside inside a giant bubble,
Protected from wild animals and other kinds of trouble.
But I'm content to be right here upon my cozy bed,
Safe and sound, up off the ground, with pillows for my head.
I wish I had wings like a dove. Then I would fly away and rest.

God, Bless the Animals
God, bless the animals all through the night.
Let them sleep safely until morning's light.
Stay with the monkeys and all the birds too.
Bless every creature that lives in the zoo.

The bears in the forest, the cows that go moo.
