Is there a plot in here somewhere?

I've read the Ghostwalker series from the beginning, but I am sorely disappointed in this one. Feehan seems to be losing steam. The first books had both plot and characterization. This book, like the one immediately before it, is just down to characterization and not even much of that. I doubt I'll even look at the next one in the series.

The epitome of sexy and dangerous

Predatory Game (Ghostwalkers Series #6) by Christine Feehan is great. I can feel the love between the main characters, Saber Wynter and Jess Calhoun. I did not read the previous installments, and although I am usually very meticulous about reading a series in order, I decided I would take the plunge. I generally like Feehan's novels, and this one did not disappoint. The characters are complex, the gadgets are high-tech, the plot is weaved with mystery and danger, and the erotic scenes are filled with passion and true love. This is a winner for me.

    Predatory Game

It was not what I expected. I hate going to the book store and picking a book only to find out it is one of a series. The one thing I don't like about her books is that they are not numbered or easily figured out they are a series!
Anyways the book was alright, it was not my favorite kind of story. The idea that there are people in government that are evil and have these special powers was more like science fiction to me. It took me two weeks to read it which is a long time for me, it was just hard to finish.

    Ghostwalkers Series #1-#6

Have read all the Ghostwalkers Series and wish Christine Feehan would write quicker. Enjoy all characters returning in each book and the progression of their lives and friendship. This is purely imagination, but the connection between the men and the girls (who were enhanced when young) is great.
If men like the Ghostwalker's existed I would definitley want them on my side. On a lighter note, wouldn't every woman like to have one of her own? These are not for readers with puritanical views, those who do not like really great descriptive sex should not read.
Most friends I have introduced to Christine Feehan respond " great,
steamy, do you have more", " better than chocolate '

    First time reader

Where was the editor for this book? I found the book dull and boring. Four or five chapters could have been removed and nothing would have been lost since the plot and characterizations were poorly developed. I'm still wondering what the sketchy plot was about. Supposedly important characters are mentioned, but are never followed up on. The reader is left hanging as to who the character is and why the person was even mentioned. First time reading a book by this author and doubtful I'll read another.

    Worth Waiting For.

Predatory Game is book six of the ghost walker series about a group of almost at times super-human warriors. Whose abilities were enhanced by Dr.Whitney an evil genius trying to create the perfect soldier. I found it to be a very enjoyable read and well worth waiting for . The plot is still really interesting in spite of the fact that this story has already been done, several times in fact. Like the other ghost walker stories it's filled with lot's of action and adventure, romance and suspense along with a little hot sex sex thrown in. Unlike some of the previous stories this one does focus more on the developing relationship between Jess, a ghostwalker who was injured on a previous mission and can no longer walk. But still manages to be a force to be reckoned with when under attack . And Saber, who is one of the orphan girls that Dr. Whitney first used in his experiments. Sabre has one of the most deadly skills ever seen in a ghostwalker, she can kill with a touch. Something that makes the other ghostwalkers more than a little leery around her. I found the author to be accurate in her portrayal of Sabre who is very likable but at times seems a little young and childish. Which when you think about it is to be expected, after all she didn't have the typical upbringing. She was isolated and used from a very young age as an assassin and that's not exactly conductive to learning social skills...

    Totally Touched Me!

Once again I amazed by Christine Feehans powerful stories. This book made me laugh and cry, sometimes in the same paragraph. As always I was drawn into the picture she paints with her words. The emotions this book evoked continue to make me think about her characters long after I've closed the last page. A definite keeper on my shelf, where I will reread it over and over, especially when I need a 'Feehan Fix' and a new book is not out. I love the diversity of characters and plots, and the worlds she creates in each of her series. This book is no exception I had to laugh as I read the reviews that suggested savoring it... oh, how I wish I could, but it was so riviting I had to gobble it up in one sitting, glued to the page. Nothing could tear me away! Now though, I do intent to sit down and savor it while I read it a second time. Love this book!

    same old, same old

I have read all of christine's books, and i have had a few that i didnt like. I love the dark series and the drake sister series, and this one as well. but now they all seem to be going along the same lines. Older guy downtalking the woman, the woman is ALWAYS child like, innocent looking, little, basically a child. I dont want to read and feel like a pedophile when it comes to the two main characters. As much as the story line is good, the fact that Saber is portrayed more as a child in looks and actions really ruins it for me.

    avid reader

i have read almost all of christine feehan's books and i have to admit that they ALL tend to run along the same plot which is emmensly boring with the same character's just different names. They don't have a sense of reality or development and her women are especially weak.i am almost about to give her up since i have discovered more interesting author's with works far beyond Feehan's feeble attempts at novella. it is a shame because her books are so clean but they just don't have enough pizzaz to keep you very enthralled. i dont think i'll be reading this one.

    AWESOME

I loved this book. There was more time spent in character developement than a lot of Feehan's books and I loved both main characters. I've been waiting for Jess's book since we first saw him and he endured torture. This book had humor, and action and was one of the best of the series.

    Makes your eyes go dreamy...

I think this book was the type that puts stars in your eyes not as action packed as the other ghostwalker series but when it did get to the action it was intense as Ms. Feehan's game series always are. It made me wonder who's story was going to be next. I think it might be either Logan, Neil or Kadan. It leaves you wondering whether Brian will turn out o be a good or bad guy. Anticipation! The romantic parts left little stars twinkling in my eyes. You would only wish for a guy like Jesse. Ms. Feehan NEVER dissapoints. Don't rush through the book. You take it in better if you savor it. Awesome!!!

    Disappointing

I have read all of Christine Feehan's books and have enjoyed her early works in most of her series. Unfortunately, this series seems to be losing it's steam. In Predatory Game the lead female- Saber comes across as a simpering, young girl. The lead male- Jesse is portrayed as a patronizing older man. Saber refers to Jesse as a caveman or dragon king. Jesse refers to Saber as baby, brat or little one. The romantic dialog and descriptions tend to be raunchy or cheesy. This book does not have a strong plot that grabs you and takes off. It never seemed to come together.

    So Disappointing...

I eagerly await all of Feehan's books, so its really disappointing when they flop. This one was plain boring. There was almost no fighting, which you would expect since they are 'soldiers.' Also, the plot was horrible and pointless. It seemed a non-stop dialogue. No excitement, no action, and alot of blah blah blah. Hopefully Turbulent Seas will turn out better.

    Disappointing

I also have read many of Christine Feehan's books. I was eagerly awaiting her next release, which was Predatory Game. I've been struggling to even get through the book! I thought I was alone in thinking this book was boring and lacking in plot. I agree that her books follow similar plots, but at least personalities are different. In this book, I just haven't cared for the 'poor me' woman and child descriptions. They seem extremely out of place.
