And she ends up in the wrong circumstances-her husband dies leaving her childless and penniless. Yet miraculously, this widow ends up as the right person in the right place at the right time, and fortunes changes for the better.
Premium Roast with Ruth considers one of the two great women for whom a book of the Bible is named. designed for group or individual study, this Bible study demonstrates how God is in control; how He always keeps His promises; how He can reverse impossible circumstances; and ho He blesses the faithful more richly and for longer than they could ever imagine.

The narrative parts of the book were quite good - with the author telling personal stories and relating historical information to expand your understanding of the Biblical passage. But I found many of the "fill in the blank" questions rather too easy and obvious. For a group study that might include both mature Christians and new believers - it suits very well. There is a little for everyone. But if your group is all mature - you might want a study with more "meat" and personal application. I found her author's emphasis on "hesed" (the consistent, ever-faithful, relentless, constantly-pursuing, lavish, extravagant, unrestrained, furious love of our God) a point of great personal challenge.
