    Excellent Help

This si a book that I bought to browse but ended up reading it from cover to cover. I felt that where it differed from my other books on attacking play is that the examples were almost always new to me and the writer actually understood my level. In the past there is an asumption by the author that everone is a master and can see everything at one. Mt Lane is the ultimate guide providing insight and instruction in an agreeable manner. For intermediate players this book is perfect as a reminder and inspiration of how to plan attacks in the middlegame (and even some opening theory), and at the same time improving general chess understanding. Highly recommended - a hugely enjoyable collection of games and puzzles.
