It wasn't a sweet REUNION.

It was a RELAPSE.

Preppy finds himself back in the world he once loved, but no longer recognizes. His dim smile can’t hide his inner turmoil and the people he views as family all suddenly feel like polite strangers.

Except for one person. A girl with dark eyes and even darker hair.

A girl who isn’t even an option.

At least, not anymore.

Dre can’t decide who she’s going to listen to. Her heart, her head, or her body. Because two out of those three things have her heading right back to Logan’s Beach. Closure is what she tells herself she’s seeking, but when she unlocks doors that were never meant to be opened, she soon discovers that when it comes to Samuel Clearwater, closure might NEVER be an option.

Holy mother $%@!-ing Cliffhanger, Batman. Like Randy Orton’s patented RKO, Frazier just came out of nowhere and stopped me dead in my tracks. The cliffhanger from Part One was hard enough to deal with , but this one? DEAD! I guess there really isn’t a way to explain how I feel about this book without sounding like a bumbling idiot. Part Two was definitely my favorite of the two- part story so far, but for every different reasons than what you might think. Part One was more about Dre’s fall to rock bottom and Preppy’s messed up intervention to save her. Part Two is all about Preppy. The horrors he faced in that dungeon and life after his death for Dre and everyone else in his world. Preppy has always been a complex and at times, vexing character and this story makes him even more confusing. His post-Dre secrets come spilling out like a fountain without a pressure gauge and they’re both heartwarming and shocking to say the least. For him and his time on the cusp of death, Logan’s Beach isn’t the way he remembers. Bear and King are happily matched with families now. The demons of his past, for the most part, are dead. His beloved GG’s are also passing away and it leaves Preppy utterly alone in his own head. He’s not needed anymore, and that makes his time on the side of the living even worse than before. Except for Dre, but even clean now, Dre doesn’t need to cling to him to live. Yet, they do both still need each other. Part Two is quite the mixture of dark and happy moments, but it’s the end that brings the entire book crashing down into the unknown. I’ll admit that I wasn’t happy about a third cliffhanger, but thinking back now, the clues where there that Preppy and Dre’s story wasn’t over. I’ll also admit that there were times where I felt like the story was rushed from one moment in time to another without setting up the scene first. That is ultimately why the cliffhanger honked me off because I felt the story had finally reached his conclusion, but no one is ever safe in the world of Logan’s Beach. My only hope is that with Part Three we, as readers, are finally given closure with Preppy’s side of the story.

Of course I was so excited to read this book finished it immediately and was left with a huge cliffhanger which I absolutely love. It's amazing how she describes the struggle with PTSD and his fight to come back to normal and of course now the love of his life trying to save him just like he saved her in the first book. I absolutely love preppy and Dre I believe now that they are my two favorite characters in the series instead of king and Ray. If you love me in TM Frazier pick up this book you won't be disappointed.

Back Together Once again T.M. has thrown me for a loop and left me wondering if I'm going to die from anticipation the way she constantly leaves me hanging, like she's the DOM and I'm being the bratty SUB. This books pick up right where we left off in part one with Preppy muttering those 3 incredible words. They blew my mind then and still did at the beginning of this emotionally charged story. Dre is in a state of panic at realizing that Preppy is right there before her eyes and now she not too sure what to make of it. This couple has been through so much that's its a wonder that either of them are even standing on their own. There's a lot of highs and lows in this story but it will leave captivated the whole way through. What I truly enjoyed about this story was a glimpse into to the lives of previous characters, I felt as if the gang was back together again because we see King, Doe, Bear, Thia, Rage and her guy Nolan....ooh to have been at Preppy's welcome back party. I loved this book from front to back and I'm anxiously anticipating Part 3.

WARNING DO NOT READ THIS BOOK IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE REST OF THE KING SERIES or PREPPY PART ONE! WOW. Is all I can say... I really enjoyed this Part Two in the Preppy chronicles. Seriously every little thing I enjoyed. From the Shopping lists he gave Doe (Ray) to Bro Love between King, Bear and Preppy.

I have such a soft spot in my heart for Preppy and Dre's story and this part of their story is just amazing. I love that we got a look into Preppy's story while he was recovering and Dre's life after she left Logan's beach in part one. I was very surprised with the ending and can't wait to see what will happen next in the series, it was a cliff hanger that had my head reeling. I was really happy to see a new side of Preppy and want to know more about specific things that happened in this book, hopefully we will get some more detail in the next book. We were introduced to new characters, as well as a whole new world for Preppy and Dre. I am excited to see where there life is going in the third book! Thank you T.M. I seriously love Preppy and I am loving Dre just as much, you have created the perfect woman for him.

Preppy alive, but not kicking just yet. Preppy is struggling to be back in his life again, but things have changed since he was kept captive and so has Preppy, he's broken, but one thing he can't forget it Dre. He hasn't forgot about her since he pushed and sent her away. His reunion with King, Bear and Ray isn't how they wanted or expected. You see even though Preppy, the usually larger than life bow tie wearing hottie is alive - he's lost, damaged and searching for help to exercise his demons. So when Dre learns that Preppy is alive, she's not sure of when to think of feeling all her emotions run high and wild, the man she thought she'd never see again is in fact alive. Dre see's Preppy 's struggles, because lets face it she had her own and knows Preppy pretty well and what she recognised is how he's existing, not really living, he's drowning in his PTSD. It breaks her to know he's pushing her away again when all she wants is to help him, like he helped her - except he won't let her. Will Preppy face up to the fact Dre is his saviour and to be himself again he has to let her in. This part was filled with more emotions as well as the humour that we come to expect with Samuel Clearwater. We got to see another side to the characters and see sides to Preppy that you'd never think she had. I love all these sides to Preppy and Dre's story and I can't wait for the next part.

T.M. Frazier never fails to blow me away with her stories. Dark and shocking, yet funny, beautiful and so full of emotion. I've read books where the dark and the light don't blend well together, but she just brings them together so brilliantly and with so much style. In this second installment in Preppy and Dre's journey, you're going to see a lot more of the dark, turbulent and vulnerable side of Preppy. And of course, more King, Ray, Bear and Thia. Even Rage has a cameo! T.M. Frazier has a few little surprises in store, as usual. Very near the end of this book I was just feeling so happy and content. Knowing there is still another installment to come after this book, I was wondering how it could all possibly go sideways. Well, it seems I had forgotten that surprising me is her super power and she took care of that in the blink of an eye, leaving me hanging in the most spectacular fashion. Again, because apparently that's her superpower too.

Every time I get ready to read another book in this series I think I'm prepared. Yet every time I get done reading, I'm blown away. This book had me glued to my tablet from beginning to end. This is the 2nd installment in Preppy and Dre's dark love story and it didn't disappoint. In this second installment of Preppy's story, he's trying to acclimate to a life that's way different from when he "died." Dre is trying to help her dad financially by selling her grandma's house (even though she doesn't want to) and was all set to try and move on with her life before she found out Preppy was still alive. This book mostly focuses on them individually. Oh, there's plenty of times that they're together but it's about how they've both changed from who they were in Part One and how they deal with that change. Also, you get quite a bit of interaction with the rest of the crew. This book had me on the edge of my seat and I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning so I could finish it in one go. It pulled a riot of emotions out of me. One minute I was laughing at something and then something epic would get revealed and I would be sent reeling. The bombs that got dropped totally caught me off guard even though I was expecting there to be some. And that ending! Gah!!! I have a love-hate relationship with cliffhangers. I am already counting down the days until I can get my hands on Part 3. Kudos to you T.M. Frazier. Yet again you've left with me with a major book hangover which is the best kind to have ;-). 5 out of 5 freaking stars!!!!!!!
