    Just OK

    I have mixed feelings about this app. There are three types of activities you can choose from (words, games, and music). The word activitiy opens to a "too short" list of words to choose from. Once a word is selected, a new screen appears with a few related words that animate when selected. I am not sure why, but the screen goes dk. gray for several seconds after a selection is made (almost as if the app is freezing up). Next, the game section is pretty good with 3 types of word/picture identification quizzes. My only qualm here is the amount of time in between questions (it's super slow). Finally, the music section is rather disappointing. Rather than a list of songs to select from...it's one song; Heads, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes. Overall, I give it one thumb up and one thumb down.

    Great for Early Learning

    This app teaches prek kids about words with a twist. I like the way it shows a word in action. My kid loves it. I recommend it.

    fun and educational

    my little one loves this app. it's keeping her entertained and she's learning about words. great preschool app! can't beat for 99 cents!!!

    okay

    my son really loved this app until i updated my nook software now the videos dont play...im just disappointed with nook altogether.

    Great potential but...

    Toddler likes the content however gets frustrated at lengthy delays and switches apps. For adults the delay time is more than obvious and when others have seen it say "Wow that's slow." Get rid of the fades or the fancy things bogging it down ad it could be better. Also needs a larger list of words to draw from.

    Wasn't what I expected

    While I am at fault for assuming something that was only .99c would be more than it was, I do think that this should not be marketed to anyone over 3. My child is no genius, but she managed to figure and win all puzzles/games within 10 min of owning the app. I looked through it thinking maybe we missed something, the app is just very very short. One game had only 5 words! Also, this app is very very slow to load from one page to another, all my other apps are quite quick. It was only .99c, but I sure wish I could apply that to something more appropriate. Perhaps I can only say if you have a VERY young child (one, two years old) this would be fun and a challenge to them, but not to anyone older.
