    Don't waste your .99 cents

This is not worth spending money on. Nothing interesting. Not even any animal sounds. Disappointing!

    What?! This is pretty awful.

I almost feel i shouldve gotten paid for putting it on my nook. Dear anonymous/person who gave this crap app 5 stars, i know you got to be the person who made this app. Your english is equally spotty, one liners, no name and one review exactly per day 5 days consecutively. Heres the truth about your app: theres no music, the 1980 robot voice is lost on a preschooler and too monotonous to hold a childs attention and to suggest this app is a fun way for kids to learn the alphabet- well the suggestion alone is the only appealing thing. It shows hope that someday you might be funny. This app uses a cursive font! Pull it down and do something with it. (Robot voice plus cartoon girl = a whole lot of more doesnt make sense)
Barnes & Noble- what are you thinking? No wonder your going down. I used to be a dedicated Nook user. Until i realized B&N is a dedicated consumer abuser. I have 8 nooks. All not useable for one reason or another (5 because the CHARGER broke and you wont send me a new one or even let me buy it. Shameful) Ive written emails and actual letters to various departments and specific people regarding this product. Never ever ever had anyone address my concerns. Nooks havent been around long enough for someone to own 8 nooks. And now this app. I realized how pitiful it is that the only apps nook offer for free are stupid useless and poorly designed. Sadly i just got A NEW Nook as a gift and when reading all the info all over the place i noticed that you folks at bnn know your tablets are disposable! You actually say something like "we now offer a variety of tablets for those of you who have a nook thats at the end of its natural life span".
Really???!!! I wish you nook crooks wouldve mentioned this natural life span when i was buying it. Its electronic and its digital and it connects to a computer. They should NEVER die. Become slow, too full, drop it in a toilet...but straight up fall apart and die? No. Not unless your willing to provide us with a oppirtunity to buy life insurance.
    RIP my dear beloved nook:
1- The first one. Screen slowly started developing black lines across until the lines were so prominent and tgere were so many i couldnt use it anymire
2-nook color- the metal part of the charger INSIDE the nook came out with the charger. Instintively i put it back in right away while still plugged in n got zapped up to my shoulder
3- nook color- takes 3 days to charge then dies right away
4- nook color- does things by itself so fast...opens books, goes to web then thenbacktobookflipspages.... i may have a ghost w ADHD tho. Also, EVERY CHARGER broke, b&n would only sell me ONE to replace it which also broke. Then all future tablet chargers broke too. Same exact way each time.
5-nook tablet- on AND volume button jammed down, like buttons are so embarrassed to be on a nook they are trying to get back in
6-nook hd- doesnt charge correctly. Charger has to be in just the right way and then the cord pulled straight up. Again, takes 2 days to get to 99% n as soon as i take off charger says at 53%, but device info will say 88, regardless it dies in like 2 minutes
7- nook hd- battery BURNS. And i mean HOT? As in my son reached for it and when his lil hand touched ut he flinched and said "whyd you do that!!" and cried.
8- nook hd+- every time the battety geys below 20% it factory resets.
Now i have the samsung tab.
App developer and barnes and noble: gimmie a break please. Function and be useful. Its all i ask from electronicals.
