I am pleased with all that I have learned with this book. It didn't even occur to me that I could use my pressure cooker for so much more than just canning. The recipes are easy and save a ton of time, compared to other methods of cooking. Definitely a great book to have!

This book provides a great introduction to anyone new to pressure cooking. The first chapter provides an overview of pressure cooking, which is great for newbies. The chapters are all organized by type of meal, such as pasta or chicken and the recipes are all simple to follow. The variety of recipes is good and there is a little something to suit everyone’s tastes.

This cookbook is laid out very simply with the exact ingredients and very straightforward preparation. Its simplicity is much like the use of a pressure cooker, since a pressure cooker is all about making delicious food very quickly and easily. I can’t wait to try out these recipes!

I’m sort of terrified of pressure cookers, but this cookbook does a pretty great job demystifying them. Beginning with a general introduction to how to use a pressure cooker (electric or stovetop) including timing charts and advanced techniques, it moves on to a sensibly laid out sequence of chapters covering everything from soups and side dishes to main dishes and desserts.

Want to make delicious, home-cooked meals while drastically reducing the amount of cooking time and effort required to do so? All these entrée, side dish, and even dessert recipes can be made right in the pressure cooker itself, and they’re easy to prepare, use common grocery store ingredients, and cook 70% faster than traditional cooking methods. Each recipe indicates the amount of liquid to use, the pressure cooking time, and the proper pressure-release method, thereby making these some of the simplest and most flavorful meals you’ve ever prepared. -- papajbear

This has to be one of the best books I ever purchased. Purchasing a pressure cooker can take the pressure off your life. I can feed my family, my office and myself all out of one book. I am a very busy professional on the go, the best part meals are plentiful, quick, easy and healthy. I always look for new ways to eat healthy and this is it. This allows you to cook without the fast fatty frying. I love cooking in a pressure cooker, crock pot and other items as this...they make life so much easier and simpler throughout the humdrum.

I’ve not thought of pressure cookers since I was a kid! But this book laid it out in such a manner that I’m not intimidated to try it – in fact I’m eager to! I love the thought of how quickly it cooks and how it holds all the flavors and nutrients in. I am really eager to try these delicious sounding recipes!

This book was really good. I didn’t think I would like it because I didn’t know how to use a pressure cooker. This book has a lot to offer busy families. It was well written and organized. I recommend this book to anyone that is busy and want a healthy meal for themselves and their family. The general time charts make a difference and will help anyone create recipes on their own. The risotto recipes are great!

I just bought this book on kindle on Amazon and just did not like the fact that there are no pictures (that is why I rated this book 4 stars.) Other than that,
if you have a slow cooker, this is a great book. It has exciting recipes to try such as the, "red potato with butter/salt" or even the, "lentil salad." Those two
recipes caught my eye the most. The red potato recipe only takes 3 minutes to make with the slow cooker! I think this book is great for people
who own a slow cooker and are often in a rush to cook. Some of these recipe meals can be prepared in record time! :)

I thought this was a great book because it was a different way to cook meals. The books offers alternatives to typical frying and even baking the same meals each week.
My family was thrilled with the taste of the meals and I was pleased with how healthy they were for them. The colorful pictures were a great add and the recipes were easy to follow. This is a good book to add to your collection.

Great delicious food, without spending the entire day in the kitchen. The pressure cooker from my parents really came in useful as I bought this book. We started experimenting and we soon found ourselves trying most recipes in the book - from chillis to rice and even desserts. We had fun in the family cooking together. I recommend this book for people with pressure cookers at home or for those who are looking for an idea what to cook next.

Divided into eleven parts, this book provides a better understanding of pressure cooking overall and contains easy, affordable recipes (which are complete with photos and nutritional information.) The recipes book includes a how-to guide, timing charts, figures, resources, and a list of ten essential cooker tips! I recommend this book mostly to college students, for the easy, fast (yet hearty) recipes suit them in their time constraints.

Flavorful foods and gourmet cooking tips make this pressure cook

Flavorful foods and gourmet cooking tips make this pressure cooker cookbook a winner. The recipes, from Seafood Lover’s Stew to Spanish Pork, are generous with spices. Pointers, such as for Lamb and Pea Stew (for best results use balsamic vinegar), are sprinkled throughout the recipes to bring out the best of each dish. Add to that the quick results of pressure cooking and any busy family can have delicious, healthy meals on any day of the week. I like that pressure cooking results in tender meat, without the long cooking time of a crock pot or the heating up of the kitchen with an oven. This cookbook, which I received for free, is just right for this busy, single mom of two.

This book has a lot of great recipes in it. (I’d love to see pics, hint hint). I love how the instructions are easy to follow. I made the Colorado Beef Chili since it’s cold out. This was our first thick stew of the year. This took me about 20 minutes, although the book stated it should be 15, no biggie. I’m eyeing the Lemon Chicken next. I did get this ebook for free in exchange for an honest review.

The joy of the pressure cooker
Forget those old notions about pressure cooker mishaps that sent a geyser of dinner towards the ceiling.
Pressure cookers have come along way since then, and it is time to revisit this cooking method.
The Pressure Cooker Cookbook is an excellent way to start. Many family favorites are in here along with
