John Buchan, was a Scottish novelist, historian and Unionist politician who served as Governor General of Canada, the 15th since Canadian Confederation. He spent most of his time on his writing career, notably writing The Thirty-Nine Steps and other adventure fiction His best sellig novels The Thirty-Nine Steps and Prester John are considered as all time best adventures nevels.

Great story it is so exciting reading about David Crawfurd aand I almost feel as if I was there I cannot wait to read some more books by this wonderful author John Buchan
