I just started reading the series and I have read books 1-3. I have enjoyed the books and the storyline so far, I think it's a fun type of book to read. The stories in the book changes from book to book as you learn more about each of the girls, so it keeps you intersted and wanting to find out more. Although the story is about teenagers, I do not recommend this series for young girls, I think is a series for older teenagers like 17 or 18. The stories mention smoking, sex and malice between friends (revenge, threats, etc) which is something parents should know about before purchasing the books for their daughters to read.

This series is the most addictive series I've ever read. Truly. People often say that they could not put a book down, in my case it was literal. It would be two, three in the morning and I'd put it on my bedside table, lay down for ten minutes, get restless and start reading again. It through off my sleeping pattern but it was worth it. I need to buy the last three books and I'm asking everybody for money because if I don't read the next book very soon I'm going to implode. Read it, you won't regret it (unless it throws off your sleeping pattern too).

This whole series is amazing. I love it, but towards the 6th and 7th book the story starts to repeat itself.... this is a series that was sorta out there for me but i ended up reading it and i absolutely love it!!! :D i would not recommend these books for boys and young girls below the age of 12 because some of the material is not suitable for young girls.

The Pretty Little Liars series was great! It only took me a couple weeks to get through them all. The suspence drives you crazy. If you think the show is excellent wait until you read the books they're even better. I really recommend this series to everyone especially if you like suspence mysteries.

The Pretty Lil Liars series is AMAZZZING. Spencer, Aria, Hanna, and Emily are being followed by a secret stalker who kknows ALL the secrets they shared with their BFF Alli who dissapeared in 7th grade. If they dont do what he/she says she will reveal them all and possibly kill the girls. Read this fantastic series full of lies,secrets, and terrible fates for those who arent lucky!!!!!!!!!

Pretty Little Liars has been a really great read so far. Its entertaining and keeps you wanting more. I read the entire series in about a week. The books were pretty hard to put down once I started reading them. I kept wanting more.
Would definitely recommend them to my friends. If you like suspense and drama...this is the series for you. It will not disappoint!

I've been reading The Pretty Little Liars books since 8th grade. I'm now a high school senior and I still love them. They keep you interested and the twists and turns take you to surprising places.

This book series truly is amazing. It keeps you in the edge of your seat the whole time and every sentence of this series keeps you hooked onto the next. It's such an addicting series and each book just gets better and better. Just when you think the mystery is solved, it just keeps going. I would very much recommend these books!!

Pretty Little Liars, consisting of ten books, by Sara Shephard is a great series. With a mixture of drama and mystery this novels are very relatable. I know most teenage girls will love these books. You are always left wanting more and the plot is very suspenseful. I very much enjoyed reading all the books in the series.
In The Pretty Little Liars series four girls have to go through their crazy everyday life. On top of that, their best friend Alison was killed. The girls grow apart over the years because of the tragedy. They are soon brought back together, though, because of mysterious letters they are getting from an anonymous sender. The girls have already been betrayed too much and want to make sure it doesn¿t happen again. They must work together as a group to solve the mystery.
I really enjoyed reading these books. The constant feeling of suspense drove me to keep reading. I never wanted to put down any of the books while reading them. All though some books in the series are more interesting than others, altogether the story line is very appealing. Every time you felt that you had solved the mysteries part of the plot would change. There were surprises around every corner so all the books kept you on your toes.
Reading the Pretty Little Liars series was very fun. The books were very enjoyable and exciting. I highly recommend this series to anyone who likes books with a mix of action, drama, and suspense. Reading these novels is a thrilling experience. In my opinion, the books were very well written and interesting. I loved these books and I know others will too.
If I were to rate this series I would definitely give it a good four and a half stars. I only have positive things to say about the books. The books gave me a new perspective on some things in life. Sara Shephard did a great job keeping the book dramatic while keeping it interesting and suspenseful. I wish I would have read the books sooner to experience the great writing. If you are looking for a book that will keep you wanting more then I definitely recommend you read this series.

Pretty Little Liars is a mystery. I love it!! It never has you bored, it only has you wondering whats going to happen next!! The only problem I had was how at the end of book 8, things were still unclear as if the author was in a hurry to finish! Luckily she is writing 4 more books. The 9th book called: Twisted; comes out July 5. =] I really do recomend this book!!

Though I think this book is more of a girl read, it is and will always be one of my favorites. If you like mysterys then I have a book to recommend you try to read this series............. I lopve this book! If you are looking for a good mystery to read. You will never know what to expect while reading these books. There are tons of secerets to be revealed and surprising plot twists. There is almost never a dim moment in these books! Read the whole serieS!!

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.i love the show so i wanted to read the books and get more info and actually find out who A really is.... but the books were a big let down. i like to read teen books and most of them are fairly good and dont talk down to the teens... although the twists are ok, the writing is dismal and bo-ring as all get out. if it wasnt for the general nastiness of the various characters and the bulemia i would say it was suitable for my 8 yr old to read because i've seen little kids books with more depth and imagination.

When I first started reading this last year I instantly got hooked. I watched the pilot of the first episode and I thought it was the best thing ever created so I went out and bought the first two books to try them out. I forced myself to not buy the next books right away because there is just so much to sink in. You think you know what is gonna happen, but one event can change the whoole story! I started last summer and am on the 7th book because I wait at least a month before reading the next so I can think about what happened:D
