Overview

Rewind to junior year in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, to a winter break no one has ever heard about. . . .

Fat snowflakes fall onto manicured lawns, quilted stockings hang over marble fireplaces, and everyone is at peace, especially Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer. Now that Alison’s murderer is in jail and A is dead, they can finally relax. Little do they know there’s a new A in town. . . .

Rule number one of being an effective stalker: Get to know your prey. So I watch these liars day and night, keeping an eye on the trouble they get into, the messes they make, and the secrets they keep. Hanna’s desperate for a very personal session with her gym trainer. Emily is number one on Santa’s naughty list. Aria’s old flame from Iceland is about to land her in hot water. And Spencer’s resorting to some backhanded tactics to get what she wants.

What happens on holiday break stays on holiday break—right? But guess what. I saw. And now I’m telling.

Taking place between Unbelievable and Wicked, Pretty Little Secrets is a very special Pretty Little Liars tale revealing the liars’ never-before-seen misadventures over their junior-year winter break.

    Pretty Little Secret

This was a very good book! For those wondering, thus is going back to Junior Year. This is explaining things that they talk about but have never explained. I believe Sara is releasing a new book soon. Which will resume bact to Senior Year and talk about issues from Ruthless. Unfortunatly there is only 2 new books relasing. That is supposed to be it but the series hopefully goes on for thise PLL lovers who just can't get enough. And PLL has resumed season two which is on Mondays on ABC Family 8/9 Central The Lying Game ( Another Sara Shepard series) Is on right after at 9/10 Central

    Cant wait!

This is just kimd of like a bonus book to the series. It doesnt count as any of the 12 in the actual series. This one rewinds back to the winter between the 4 and 5 book. Its just a bonus one. Its pretty much like the other ones.

    Decent read

I thought this book was a decent read although as I'm quite aware of the whole synopsis of Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer being stalked constantly reading all 10 books of the series (11 including this spin-off), it still bothers me how outlandish it is for "A" to be in all of these places just when their lives start to take an "interesting" spin. Like I caught myself laughing a little to myself because when Spencer kept hearing "a faint giggling" while she was in Florida and then when Aria kept hearing the same thing while she was out in Atlantic City with her eco-terrorist of a husband I'm like "Wow !! "A" really must be stinkin rich and a big loser with no life to buy plane tickets to stalk her ex-best friends" Talk about stalking status to the absolute M A X !!! Overall, this book was interesting to see their secrets just keep getting juicier and juicier but what I appreciated and enjoyed from this book is that they all was able to fix their problems before it got too out of hand and they did it on their own cost without the infamous "A" airing their dirty laundry out for them.

    Oh my girls!

These pretty little liars really have it in for them this time. They just get naughtier and naughtier and little ol' me is watching from a distance.. a very close distance. Hanna may have the slightest bit of common sense, Aria may have been born with an open mind, Emily may know how to use her brain and Spencer being vali- opps! I meam co-validictorian, you'd think they learned their lesson. Have fun girls... while you still can. -A

This was a fantastic book! This book is the tenth of the series, all the books are extremely intriguing, fun and interesting to read. By writing through the perspective of each of the four main characters, Spencer, Emily, Aria and Hanna, the author gives you a look into the life of the four different girls. It's appealing to high school girls around the same age because of the similarities in life. Though the book might appear as a dramatic teenage girl book, it also follows the plot line of the murder of the girl's murdered best friend Alison. While dealing with a teenage girl life, dealing with the death of a loved one, the girls are constantly tormented with the truths about their scandalous lives. As the book becomes more and more exciting, the author reveals secrets about the girls no one would ever expect. Though the characters share many deadly secrets, they all also possess their own dirty tales that they wish to forget and move past. As the series builds, the girls accumulate awful experiences as they still try to figure out the murder of their best friend. This book is an easy read and appealing to people of all age and gender. With a long series, you are constantly left anxious and craving more.

In this book, Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, Spencer Hastings, and Hanna Marin are on Christmas vacation in Rosewood. A may be dead, but little do the girls know, there’s a new A in town. While their Christmas vacation may be fun filled and snowy, A is always watching them.
While Hanna’s boyfriend is out of town, A catches her purging on food after she eats it, and Emily is stuck being the new Santa at the mall because she needs to catch mischievous girls in the act of their thieving. Aria elopes over vacation with her ex-boyfriend Hallbjourn from Iceland. Little does she know, he has secrets too. Spencer meets a 30 year old tennis player who she falls for immediately. Melissa and Spencer fight over the boy, but in the end they both lose.
This book is extremely good, and really builds up suspense. I absolutely admire the work of Sara Shepard, and if you read this book, you will not be disappointed!

    Ok?

I just got finished reading this book a couple days ago and then i started the others and this book is completely pointless. I mean its a goid storyvi guess but it has no follow-up on spencer, aria, emily, or hanna so why does it really matter?

Not like the rest of the books

I am a fan of the PLL series. When I first found out that a new book came out I became excited. I stopped halfway because some of us know what happened back than and they are just repeating it. I was very disappointed...
