I purchased this book to find a workout that I could complete while in the playroom with my 4 yr old daughter, this is perfect. I mix and match exercises and began with about 20 minutes of exercises and now I do about 30 minutes. (I also mix in exercises from an excellent magazine article by Michael Gonzales Wallace, he has several exercise books out on shorter workouts) It is not as exhausting as when I treadmill 2X a week, but a good supplement of strength and weight training on the days I want to do some activity as well as spend time with my daughter, who also tries to join in. A good addition for those of us who live in reality and can not make it to a gym for an hour.
I bought this book right away so that I could stay on top of my New Years goals this year- to loose my last couple of pounds and reach my goal weight. I have been a fan of Chris's and follow her advice on Prevention.com. I have been loosing weight by using Chris's videos and walking outside. I have only a few more pounds to go. I read the book right away and think that her plan is doable and realistic. This is definitely going to help me loose the last bit of weight. And sounds like I will have some fun while I loose weight! I would highly recommend the book. Chris definitely knows what she is talking about and she is so motivational.
