When NY werecat Vivian Roussel turns to a sexy investigator for help when her business is broken into, she starts a chain of events that entangles her and her new ally Pavel in a paranormal thriller. Romance outside the clan is a big taboo, but these two werecats are swept up in a wave of passion as they try to find out who wants to kidnap Vivian and why this is all connected with evil werecats of Pavel's clan. The safety of one of Russia's most treasured icons is up for grabs as clans battle for possession of it and criminals try to take control. Ferocious werecats in big cat form show their claws and werewolves have nothing on these guys as Viv and Pavel find themselves fighting for their love and their very lives. Terrific page-turner with a couple of pretty good villains too.

I readed Devour and Prey and enjoyed them both. I am a lover of the paranormal stories and love to found an author who reuse characters from previous stories.

The only parts with a story are the romance sections and they read like what teenager think a love story should be.

Prey is not your typical mindless romance with a supernatural twist. It is a carefully crafted tale of adventure with a hint of mystery, a taste of the old world with a good measure of spiciness thrown into the mix. Melina Morel delivers a fast paced adventure while keeping it fresh. Werewolf books abound but good tales of other shape shifting creatures are very few and far between. Prey's ultra sexy characters will draw you in and keep you reading!!!

Overview
Vivian Roussel prefers to keep a low profile—she is, after all, a werecat, descendant of an ancient demigoddess, and highly regarded in Manhattan’s nightworld. But when she’s robbed of a priceless icon, she has only one recourse for protection.
Surveillance expert and werecat Pavel Federov never ...
