Ever since Carter Chase's ex-fiancé, Avery, married another man, he's resolved to win her back. And when an accident sends her to his side, Carter seems to have sealed the deal. But fate has a different plan. . .

Meanwhile, Carter's brother, Michael, is entangled in a scandal that's alienated him from his powerful father. Hoping to redeem himself, Michael proposes a new business idea. But his partner in the venture—and in his bed—is not the ally he imagines. . .

Not to be left out, youngest daughter, Haley, becomes embroiled with a law student-turned-murder suspect. Of course, the young man has an alibi—one he paid good money for. Soon, Haley and the entire Chase family are drawn into a publicity nightmare that can only end with a shocking revelation. . .

Good Read but Enough is Enough

I enjoyed reading all of the books in this series, but I really wish it would end. I thought this book would be the finale, but was greatly disappointed as I got closer to the end and felt the cliff hanger coming. This series is all about waiting for the other shoe to drop, and it always does. The Soap Opera style is making me lose interest. Ya know the rich family the constant twists and I would not be surprised if Richard came back and said he wasn't dead just escaping from Leigh's controlling family! I'm not asking for a happy ending just wrap it up!

    I Also Recommend:

    Absolutely Amazing!

This series is by far the best series I've ever read. I usually lose interest in book series after a while but this one keeps me on edge each and every time I read a new installment. I've even re-read the first & second book. Everything in this book is perfect! The style, the action, the drama, the romance, the surprises, the cliff hangers! Everything! There is honestly nothing in this series that I can say is wrong. Except that it sucks that I have to wait until June of 2010 to read the 5th & final book to this series, lol. But yeah, this is an amazing series! Amazing to the MAX! I love it! I think that after the Author is finished with this series that she should make a sequel. One about Steven & Janet and how the Chase Family came to be and whatnot. And another about the 2nd generation of the Chase Family, Daniel, Evan & Connor. I think that'll be fun and I'm sure all the other fans would also. But yeah, this series is definitely worth a read if you're into Drama because this series is Drama filled at it's fullest from book 1 all the way to book 4.
