Three great stories in one book!

I enjoyed all three of these stories. Coincidentally, all three are the beginning stories for three wonderful series by each of these authors. Lorie O'Clare's story is about a clan of werewolves and the unique laws of their pack. Because there are few females and the pack leaders have decided to keep the bloodline 'pure' each woman has three mates. It is interesting how this first story proceeds and how the series then continues. The second story is by Jaci Burton and is also a werewolf story. This one is about a reporter and a politician and the sparks that fly when a case of mistaken identity turns into an erotic encounter. The final story is by Lora Leigh and is the first book in her Wolf Breed series. This is actually the first Lora Leigh book that I read and it still holds a place in my heart. Wolfe and Hope are intense characters that have to overcoming separation and distrust, but ultimately come together to defeat their enemy. All three stories in this book are great and it is a must buy in my opinion.

    Not Quite There

This book was rather disappointing. The amateur cover, awkward editing and chaotic use of different fonts equaled sloppy and somewhat distracting production values. On top of all that, the stories were too short and either jumped around or crammed a lot of back information into a 'tell you' rather than 'show you' format. What was actually written was good and entertaining but needed to be developed further. The anthology does give the reader a glimpse of what each writer's works could be like given a longer format. For true fans, these stories are probably appreciated but having only read one author before, I found the other three frustrating. Considering the low production, it seemed closer to porn than erotica.

    more from this reviewer

    Good but short.

I enjoyed these stories. However, as with most anthologies, there's barely enough time to get a feel for the characters and the story is over. Wish it could have been a bit longer to give more flesh to the stories.

    I Also Recommend:

good book for a rainy weekend

I bought this book due to I have all of the Lora Leigh series and wanted the story in this book to go with I usually do not like the other stories when buying this type of book but all the short stories are very well written and would recommend this book for any romance reader.

    Primal HOT!

A seriously good book of paranormal erotica. Four storeis in all, all with arousing allure and all told with generous attention to detail. A good one, that's for sure.

    I Also Recommend:

    King's story the best

I enjoyed all of these stories with the exception of O'Clare's. Unfortunately, there was not much substance of a story for me. Moonlust was exceptional and I am now reading much more of Sherri L. King. The other two stories were good as well.

    Lots of sex

Moonlust had me cringing in the beginning with some inappropriate touching, but redeemed itself with two thoughtful characters. Though I wondered, why wasn¿t anyone looking for Brianna? Pack Law was pretty much porn. Not much plot, tons of sex, but sometimes that¿s what you want from a romance novella. Running Mate was the best of the bunch. A very fully developed novella. The main characters are relatable and interesting. Wolfe¿s Hope didn¿t feel like to start of a series, because the back story of imprisonment and a bizarre mother. I never really understood how Hope forgave Wolfe for the ¿torture¿.

    Not to be missed!!

I bought this book for the Lora Leigh story, since she happens to be a favorite of mine. With collections and anthologies, sometimes you get a poor book thrown in with a few good ones. I was pleasantly surprised to find ALL of these books are ¿keepers¿! And since all of them are just the beginning of each author¿s series, I already have a list of future purchases! Wolfe's Hope By Lora Leigh is the first in her Wolf Breed books and showcases Wolfe and Hope and the challenges they face to overcome their mutual distrust. Sizzling chemistry! It's a GREAT beginning to a wonderful series! Running Mate By Jaci Burton is about an unexpected sexual encounter that develops into something much more when a handsome politician recognizes his ¿mate.¿ From what I can see, this is just the beginning of a series which I will be sure to follow! Lorie O'Clare's Lunewulf story centers on a werewolf pack and the requirement that each female take three mates. It¿s a fun read... and the concept is quite compelling with pack members taking opposing views. I¿m looking forward to reading the rest of this series. The sexual tension will keep you turning the pages. Moonlust By Sherri L King...What a hot werewolf read! Brianna is at the mercy of a strange reclusive man when she has an accident during a trip to the Ural Mountains in Russia. The chemistry between these two characters is incredible! All four books are 'keepers' and I look forward to additional books in each series!
