    fun for series fans

"Bleeding Heart" by Michelle Rowen. Dhampyre Declan Reyes vows to keep safe purebred human Jillian Conrad in spite of their attraction to each other. He knows only her death can bring them together. This is an entertaining direct follow-up to Nightshade.

"Skin & Bone" by Ava Gray. In a remote part of Ecuador that keeps him off the grid after five years of torture and imprisonment to reveal his gift, Silas rescues American expatriate Juneau Bright from the rubble of an earthquake. Though he fears betrayal and returning in to the grid, he finds himself thinking of a second chance at life with his new "partner". This is an exciting direct follow-up to Skin Tight.

"Angel-Claimed" by Jory Strong. In California, Addai the angel knows he must forget Sajia, but cannot. Sajia the Djinn knows she must forget Addai, but cannot. Their love is considered taboo and unnatural since djinn and angels have warred for eternity, yet each prays for the safety of the other. This is an enjoyable return to the post-apocalyptic world of Spider-Touched and Ghostland.

"Primal Kiss" by Lora Leigh. A good girl all her life got Kita Claire Engalls is betrayed by her loved ones. Now she has met bad boy Wolf Breed security specialist Creed Raines and knows she loves him. However, she fears her beloved will be like her family by betraying her love. This is an exhilarating Breed thriller.

All four tales are well-written fun that overall will satisfy series fans, but the novella format limits character development; trademarks of the contributing authors in their romantic fantasy novels.

Primal Kiss is a must read for Breed lovers!!

I only read the Primal Kiss (Breeds short story) by Lora Leigh in this book. Primal Kiss is the continuation of the story involving Jonas Wyatt's daughter, Amber Broen. In Lion's Heat, Philip Bradenmore injects the infant with an unknown chemical agent that is changing her DNA chemical makeup. This short story is not a stand alone and should be read after reading Lion's Heat in order to understand the challenges the Breeds face in finding a cure for Amber. Primal Kiss is also a great love story about Creed (Breed enforcer) and Kita (Horace Engall's daughter). Though Lion's Heat was a total disappointment to me, LL redeemed herself by bringing some closure to questions that were never answered in Jonas' book.

    Lora Leigh Primal

I was disappointed.I was looking for an action adventure story continuing the Breeds Saga and all I got was a Harlequin Blaze predictable romance. Too much of the book was spent detailing the sex scene and very little spent telling the story of the Breeds struggle. The plot and ending of the story was summarized too quickly within a few short pages and nothing was left for the reader to learn more about the events and the characters.

Defintitly check out Lora Leigh's Breed story

I enjoyed Lora Leigh's Breed story tremendously! I wasn't crazy about the others due to my never reading them and they were parts of series. I totally hated the story Angel Claimed by Jory Strong. I LOVE strong characters but he was just an arrogant so &so. It seemed to me he wanted to own the heroine not truly love her. I thought she was a good writer just didn't care for the type of characters she made Addai and Sajia. I at least read her book through unlike others since I didn't know the series they were from. I may look them up and see if I like them since I'm always on the prowl for new authors tho. I thought they looked interesting.

    Good Read.

Enjoyed Michelle Rowen and Ava Grays story. Jory Strong's was ok. Totally lost in parts of Lora Leigh's story. Not too bad considering I've not read any in the series..
