Mark Elliott was born and raised in the rolling hills of southern Indiana (USA). He entered full-time ministry in 1982. Mark holds 2 master's degrees and a Doctor of Ministry degree. His doctoral research project was conducted in the area of small groups and included reading 150 books on small groups.

Mark is currently a Lead Pastor in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Pastor Elliott has served in churches as small as 3 as a church planter and as large as 6,000 as a Small Group Pastor in Naperville, Illinois.
