I loved the storyline behind this book, I just wish there was more of the story than the steamy sex scenes. NOT a book for teens. A prince from a hidden kingdom ventures out into the common world to find his mate. He must return with her or the kingdom will vanish due to a curse from the fae. Great storyline, wish there was more to the story than erotica.

I must say I even laughed out loud how this book is tied to another series!! I think this little tidbit will make this series VERY interesting! :)

Good concept, undeveloped characters. Read right through. No substance. Maybe due to the shortness of the novela. Read in two hours, type of reading you do between tv commercials. Not really highlander, could be set anywhere with the exception of one "aye". Decent .99 cent read.

This is the first of a new 4 novella set by Donna Grant and it does not diappoint. This is the story of Lucian, Second son and Prince of the secret Kingdom of Drahcir. Because of a long ago Fae cures, Lucian needs to find his mate and convice her to willing come back to his kingdom with him in order to save his family and his people from disappearing forever. Isabelle lost her mother during childbirth and never new her father. Raised by her grandparents she lived in a home filled with love. After the death of her grandparents, Isabelle belives that she will be alone for the rest of her life, never to have a family of her own. Lucian has been watching Isabelle for a while and knows that she is his soul mate, his other half. After rescuing her from a group of attachers one night, he is desperate to take her back to his kingdom. Isabelle feels the connection to Lucian, but does not understand it and it frightens her. Can Lucian convince Isabelle that her place is with him and his people, or will Lucian be forced to abandon his home to stay with the woman who he realizes that he can never leave. Wonderful story. The characters are well written and just grab you and pull you in. I have read other series by Donna Grant and this one did not disappoint. I will be reading the rest of the novellas in this series. Great price at $.99.

This is the first in a series of four formulaic tomes. The names have been changed to help the reader think this is a new story rather than the re-telling (for the fourth time) of this creative, but banal tale. Even the "intimate" times are almost word for word identical from book to book in the series. Once is enough, but do not bother to buy all 4 in the series.
