Operating in deep cover, with only the prosecutors ...
Operating in deep cover, with only the prosecutors and the police commissioner aware of his dual role, Leuci walked a tightrope that made his life a nightmare. He was in mortal danger from both sides.
In a world where conflicting pressures are excruciating, who should bear the burden of being right when so much of the system is wrong?
From the New York Times bestselling author of Tainted Evidence comes a true story of police corruption. In the early '70s, the Federal Government undertook an immense investigation into the corruption penetrating New York's criminal justice system. This is Detective Bob Leuci's true story of being caught in the middle. Reissue.

Having read true crime cop stories for 30 years, I find this one to be the best. It starts out good and just gets better as it goes. Buy it and see if you don't agree.
