Prince William (Famous People Series)

Prince William (Famous People Series)

by Sheila Wyborny

Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature
This hardback book has a glossy blue color and a full-color photograph of England's Prince William on the front. Forty-two pages in length, it is generous with splendid color photographs of Princess Diana, Prince Charles, William and Harry. Wyborny gives interesting and complete information about the young prince starting with his birth and following him through trips to Belize, Chile, and his return to the St. Andrew's University in Scotland. She tastefully handles the sensitive issue of the separation and divorce of Charles and Diana. Chapter Three recounts William's close relationship with his mother, her tragic death, how he dealt with his grief, and the supportive actions of his father. I was impressed with the author's fair treatment of Prince Charles. This book was very enlightening to me and I came away with a great admiration for Prince William. 2003, KidHaven Press,
