Overview

Enter the magical kingdom of Madrigar, where handsome Prince Augustin has been robbed of his heart by a cruel fairy. Blessed by a kinder member of the fae with an “untiring” sword, he’s learned such gifts present challenges—and that missing hearts are no light burden.

Plucky Princess Violet likewise suffers under a spell, fated to burn forever with desires no common lover can satisfy. Little do they know the survival of both their kingdoms depends on them losing their enchanted hearts to each other.

A very grownup fairytale from USA Today bestseller, Emma Holly.

“I am utterly insane for Emma Holly. The way she sucks you into her world is pure genius!” - New York Times bestseller, Jacquelyn Frank

Emma Holly's books are must-read for me, and this one was an enjoyable addition to my collection. It was a fast read and a great price. While the narrative focused more on the sexual encounters between Augustin and Violet than on resolving the somewhat forced trials facing the couple, (evil werewolf sorcerer with a heart of gold, spoiled prince with no heart at all...) overall this is a satisfying novella that puts a fun twist on the fairy tale genre.

I saw on Emma Hollys facebook site about this book so I bought it since I enjoy her books (and it was only $2.99 at the time) and I enjoyed this one too. It is fantasy with just enough reality that you can feel like it could have happened. I love reading her books because they aren't just erotica but erotica with a great storyline!!!

I read this book in about 2 hours. Enjoyable read, found myself laughing at some parts. Lots of heat--you have been warned. But endearing characters.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is billed as a grown up fairy tail and that is exactly what you get. It is not Shakespeare but the characters were cute and endearing and the story is an easy read. A little romance and a lot of heat. Enjoy!!

Love Emma Holly but I'm not too much of a fairy tale rewrite reader, nor do i usually like short stories-but I enjoyed this immensely. As always it was super sexy but the story was just engrossing and cute(can a book with so much sex be cute?). Was totally worth it.

I'm usually a fan of Emma Holly. This book, not so much. I found a few scenes hard to follow, the way they were written & it really didn't leave much of an impression.

I bought this book because it was only 2.99 and looked decent and I figured I would give it a try. It was good read throughout, I would recommend this book to anyone who likes romantic fairy tales. I would not recommend if you are not looking for a erotic book however since this book definitely goes into quite a bit of detail that is not for the faint of heart
