My daughter loved reading the book. We purchased before seeing the movie, which made her even more excited for the movie. Worth every cent!

Rejoice, Rejoice! for Princess Monroe Elyse Matthew, borm April 9, 2010, 12:40 p.m., at 6.5 #'s & 11.5 inches. I purchased this book as a, Read Aloud Book, for my neice Tiffany and her hubby Kaoi, just a few weeks ago for Easter. My neice called and emailed me stating I must have read her mind, that she wanted a copy for Monroe's book collection. this book is very delightful. If you have ever been to NewOrleans,(I visited once during the SuperBowl) or not you will be engaged with the sights, sounds, the foods and the magic that only you get from the parrishes of La. Every little girls love for her daddy, the complexities of longtime & new friendships, devoted hardworking mom, spirit of adventure and the spirit of giving beyond your need is in this book. It is a must read for my girls. After we view the movie we have lunch and talk about it then I follow up with the book. "WHAM" They love me. It's always something we can talk about over the phone or email. Listen, If you got girls in your family you love, take them to the Big Screen or rent the DVD. Then followup up with the Princess Doll and this Book. You can't go wrong.

This is my 4-year-old daughter's new favorite book and she insists on reading it every night and frequently during the day as well. It's nice to have a different kind of Disney fairy tale for a change rather than the standard castle, prince charming, etc. She loves learning about Mardi Gras, jazz music and the culture of New Orleans....a great teaching book!

This was a wonderful story of the newest disney princess! Tiana is a character that has her own hopes and dreams. I like her because alot of teh other princesses just sit around waiting for their prince to arrive...Not Tiana, her deram is to start her own restaurant! The story takes an unexpected turn when Prince Naveen of maldonia gets turned into a frog by an evil voodoo man named Dr. Facilier. Just one kiss... tiana asked. she kissed Naveen and ends up turning into a frog herself! Will they beable to break the spells or will they be stuck as frogs forever?
