Can I truly spend the rest of my life lost in your embrace?

Being a Princess comes with responsibility and obligations not all wish to fulfill. Her Royal Highness Princess Emma of Rosewald is pivotal to ensuring the future of her family sovereignty and is being forced into a marriage she does not want. All Emma sees are the bars and constraints her life has turned into and freedom if only for a week is on the other side of that door. Running away should have been easy but nothing is ever as uncomplicated as the plan devised in your dreams.

Emma finds herself at the mercy of Dominic Gregory, Earl of Lyndhurst a kind and considerate man who takes her in not knowing her importance to anyone but himself. Nick creates an atmosphere of fun and lighthearted adventures that Emma never thought possible and cannot wait for the next day to see what it will bring. Emma may always be looking over her shoulder for someone who might recognize her, but staring into Nick's eyes is so much more enjoyable. Nick wants to protect Emma but the more time she shares his home the more he realizes he wants to protect her but love her as well.

Yet obligation overrides desire; duty calls and love cannot answer; and ducal responsibility never takes a holiday. Emma knows all these things and understands that she did have this time with Nick but it must end. The reality of what her life must be is over riding any other emotion and try as she might the door on destiny is about to close forever. Nick is not going to love her and then let her go; he is going to fight for their long-term future. Even after Nick discovers Emma's secrets, he quickly recovers from the shock to pursue her with an even more determined manner knowing what obstacles he must hurdle, every one of them worth even a moment of her time with a tender kiss.

With Emma's friends scheming and Nick never losing his hope that they can be together, actions are set into motion to let Emma and Nick be joined forever. How can love not prevail, who can help them be together, what miracle will occur to create a situation where a life forever is possible. Prayers are answered and dreams fulfilled in the most unusual of manner one never expect.

Tracy Anne Warren has written a completely delightful and magically romantic reading experience, which unfolds, on every page. Each character has a clearly defined place in the story and you never have to wonder where the story is going because Ms. Warren writes so well you feel like you are in the room with experiencing it as love blooms around you.

Loved this Book and I'm Not A Romance Novel Fan!

I'm not usually one who reads romance novels, but this one caught my eye. I was not disappointed.

The writing is wonderful, characters are fully developed, the plot is intriguing and well thought out, and everything else just steals your heart.

I felt so much chemistry from the two main characters that I had to know what happened next. I also loved how there was obvious sexual tension, but it wasn't put in your face every 5 seconds. And the love scenes were just enough and fit perfectly for the characters, instead of adding them for typical romance novel purposes.

It's very rare for me to connect with a book so much where I speed through it. But this was definitely one of them. If you love stories about love that has more to it than just some guy likes some girl for some random reason that isn't really fully explained, buy this book!

I liked it very much. I just felt in the middle of the book the author got lost and I started skipping pages, until almost the end when the book got interesting again. Great end!!!

    AWESOME READ

Let this be a testament........I am not even halfway through the book and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!! The characters are so emotional and come across so real. This author conveys every emotion so eloquently that you smile when they smile or laugh when they laugh, even cry and get frustrated with them as well. Unfortunately I had to go to work and could not bring the book with me but as soon as I get off, my family will have to fend for themselves because this book and I will be in seclusion together!!!!! Very good! I'm looking forward to the next installment in the triology. The story had your heart aching for the main characters at times and full of hope that they would find a way to make it work out.

Princess Emmaline knows it is her duty to wed King Otto, a man whom she’s never met, but she cannot help yearning for a taste of life before she agrees to the arranged marriage. Running away from the exclusive girls’ school, Emma finds herself in the seedier side of London and quickly gets herself into trouble. Her savior is none other than Dominic Gregory, the Earl of Lyndhurst and a decorated war hero.
Nick hears Emma’s sad, contrived tale and takes pity on her. He brings her home to his London townhouse and squires her around to the various sights she’s only dreamed about. Emma goes to parties and attends the theater, drinking in the sights and sounds as though she’s starving.
Nick does not know what to make of his new house guest. Emma is much too beautiful and graceful for her own good. Although she claims to be a governess, she carries herself with a regal air. With every passing day, Nick falls more deeply under Emma’s sweet spell.
Time grows short. All too soon, her brother’s guards come looking for Emma and the princess quickly realizes her holiday is over. To save her country, Emma must return to her brother’s house and prepare to wed a man she does not love.
I enjoyed this book for the view it provided of what life as a princess might be like. It isn’t all glamour and privilege. Sometimes, royalty is forced to make choices for the good of all – despite their true desires.
