Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
The process of potty training may be a trial for some parents and a breeze for others. Targeted to girls, Princess Potty makes it clear that even princesses use potties. However, there is a difference. The princess has her very own potty room, and she practically makes a royal proclamation when she has to use it. She gets to ride a pony with a mouse playing music as she approaches the princess's bathroom. But once there, she has to do the same as ordinary girls—pull down her "undies" and sit on the potty which in this case looks more like a royal throne. Her toilet tissue is brought to her by little bluebirds and she does flush and wash her hands thus setting a very good example. There is a reward—a sticker for her princess tiara and everyone in the kingdom including her parents are proud of this little princess. The illustrations are created in a cartoon style with lots of pink, lavender, hearts, sparkles, and others items meant to appeal to girls. The book contains a tiara that can be worn and there are plenty of stickers to use as rewards when your own little princess successfully uses the potty. Definitely a personal purchase. Adorable

My 27-month old daughter loves this. It comes with a little punch-out paper tiara that I couldn't get to fit her, though, so that part of the book is kind of useless. You're supposed to put a sticker on the tiara every time your child uses the potty, but my daughter just likes to play with the stickers. She isn't really interested in using the potty too much right now. This book is cute, though!

    It worked for me!

My daughter was having a hard time with potty training, and then I found this book. She loves that she gets to wear a tiara while she sits on the potty. Now if I could only find pink toliet paper.........
