From Barnes & Noble
The Princess Primer serves as an elegant little tutorial for any young girl who aspires to be royalty. In this rare facsimile of a fairy godmother's personal journal, princesses in training can learn how to dress and prepare for a palace ball and other regal festivities. The author/fairy godmother offers reminiscences of her own experiences in the royal court and shares pictures of dazzling castle interiors and lavish country estates.
Publishers Weekly
Speaking of princesses,... how better to emulate a royal than with the elegant scrapbook-like A Princess Primer: A Fairy Godmother's Guide to Being a Princess by Stephanie True Peters, illus. by Bernhard Oberdieck and Denis Gordeev. Beginning with a secret code, hidden behind a flap on the endpapers, this predominantly pink volume offers sample fabrics to touch, mix-and-match wardrobes to try, and a palace with secret flaps offering cutaway views of everything from the throne room to the servants' quarters. And don't forget magic: spells, enchantments and fairies also pepper the pages, capped off with a royal wedding. Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.

    My granddaughter, The Princess

My granddaughter loves this book. She is really into "princesses" and anything related to the Disney Princesses. This book fills many hours of fun and make-believe moments for her. At this stage in her life, fantasy is wonderful. I hope she carries some of this with her throughout her life. We all need areas to escape to when we feel the need to get rid of stress and even children have stressful days. Thanks for providing this book for the enjoyment, the ability to pretend, and the educational values presented.

Little girls will love this one!

My seven year old grandaughter fell in love with this book when she was given the choice of any book she wanted. While it is a bit too detailed for a seven year old she loves it anyway.

    A reviewer

My second grader LOVES this book! It encourages her to read and practice manners. It is, of course, over the top, but it is for princesses! :'
