This book is a must-read for a new principal but would be equally important for any seasoned administrator. The book will certainly become a reference used frequently in the principal's office. 'The Principal's Office: A Primer for Balanced Leadership' is an easy-to-read, practical approach to conducting the administrator's business of leading his or her school. It gives the reader insight into the four areas that are necessary for a healthy and successful principalship. It explores the physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual areas of the principal's life. Dr. Harris brings to life her topics by recounting her own experiences while in the principal's arena.
