Overview

Alyssa is a farm girl, who should be the ranking princess and heir to the throne of Landing. Denied her rights by her father, and banished from the palace, she has only one chance to gain her rightful place as heir to the throne and future king. Several years before, when her father, generally considered a tyrant king, was threatened with coups and general unrest, he created a challenge system whereby the person who defeated Prince Tobias in a thousand-mile endurance race could win the kingship. Of course the protection of the crown makes this easier for Tobias than his competitors. Now, however, he has a new challenger, his beautiful and talented sister, Princess Alyssa, who has been training for this race in secret for six years, and who has decided enough is enough. She has vowed to win the race, gain the kingship, and take back the rights that her father has stolen from her. Now if she can only stay alive for the eight months it will take her to complete the race.

About the Author

At Present I am living in Florida with my wife, Katrina, and son Jordan. I was born in upstate New York, in the tiny village of Gilbertsville, I graduated in 1983 with 25 in my class! My entire school had 267 kids, k-12 that year.making us the 13th smallest school in the state! I laugh at that, but in reality the education I received in my tiny little school left me well-versed in history, English literature, able to write and speak using perfect grammar and spelling, and able to do math well enough that even though it is my weakest subject, I was elected to teach it in high school! Go figure. English is always where my strengths have been, and continue to be.

Writing to me is a gift. I love it, I love to teach it, and I love to bring stories to others. I believe that shows through in my writing, and as the future marches on, I feel I am only just beginning to really get the hang of it. To me, at least, that’s a wonderful feeling. My development as a writer must, by necessity, never end. I hope to be pushing envelopes to the bursting point more and more as I bring stories to life.

In addition to writing, I love motivational/self-hypnosis training and am working to bring some of those ideas to the fore in places where they have traditionally not been used, but have always been needed. Self-hypnosis is a simple and powerful methodology for restructuring our thought patterns so that can’ts become cans, won’t becomes will, and desires and passions are pursued, rather than painfully ignored. Instead of letting negativity and difficulty rule our minds, we can take back control and train ourselves to rule our own minds and hearts and generate the results that we want.

Profound and thoroughly imaginative, Principle Destiny is an engaging read. In it, author David Cleinman weaves a fantastical narrative of good vs. evil, the ageless morality tale with which all of us are more than familiar. As such, readers will surely relate to the predicament in which Alyssa finds herself, as well as the various trials and tribulations she must endure in order to overcome the omnipresent evil surrounding her.
