Very neat concept for this novelette. First person perspective from a disembodied AI's viewpoint - I love it! It's a fun intellectual exercise to contemplate how an advanced AI might internally process its interactions (they are pretty well thought-out in this case), and the resultant personality of this one carries the tale nicely.
It's held back a little by a fair amount of mechanical errors, but that's just par for the course in a newly released independent book - it's certainly worth reading, regardless!

The conversation between AI & prisoner was well written, kept my interest. Ending was vague. If some else has ideas what it means, Id like to hear them. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
