This is a perfect title for a seasoned Hadooper who wants to move into Microsoft Azure and Hadoop implementation. The book is crisp, concise and at the same time both developer and administrator focused. The chapters on .Net framework and PowerShell were particularly very interesting. The book also explains the basics on Windows Azure and Microsoft's Big Data story pretty well. Last. but not least, to wrap it up, the integration chapters with MS BI is of particular interest to developers like me and helped me get quickly started with Hadoop and Excel/SQL based BI. Overall, a great title and highly recommended for people who want to bring their existing Hadoop and BI skills to Microsoft world.
