Meet the Author

Mark Collins has developed software for more than 25 years, mostly using the Microsoft stack. He has served many roles including development manager, architect, team lead, database administrator, and project manager. He has extensive experience in retail (point-of-sale and inventory) and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. Mark currently serves as a senior software engineer for a non-profit organization, providing a custom CRM, mail processing, and fulfillment system.

Michael Mayberry has been writing software professionally for over 12 years. The vast majority of that time has been spent using Microsoft technologies. He currently serves as a software architect for a large nonprofit organization, using his skills to build CRM and BI solutions. As an enterprise-centered architect, he focuses on the integration of new technologies with existing systems. He aims to build solutions that unify the different areas within an organization in order to better accomplish the common goal.
