    A disappointing book

This is my first book that introduced me to the art and the beauty of differential diagnosis. If it were 20 years ago, no book might be able to compete with this book and I would recommend this book to a person who have desided to be a internal medicine doctor. But at present, I don't. The latest version is 7th edition(printed in 2001), but most of the content is even the same as that in the 1st edition(printed 20 years or so). Many method of treatment and diagnosis weren't updated. Besides, there are so many printing errors(e.g. P205, 208, 213, 238, 322...and more). As for the appearance, the composition of the current 7th edition is not as good as the 6th edition. It is more difficult to find the topic that you are interested in.(e.g. in chap 7. renal, electrolyte, blood-gas, and acid-base problems, all the subtopics are mixed in a mass). There are too less tables and figures, and some content of the table are not organized. I hope much more tables, figures, and algorithms, organized and updated content will show in the next edition.
