Problems: And Other Stories [NOOK Book]

Overview

In this midcareer collection of twenty-three short stories, John Updike tackles such problems as separation, divorce, and remarriage, parents and children, guns and prostitution, leprosy, swooning, suffocation, and guilt. Please help

I'm deathly afraid of something called chernobyl. It was a nuclear explosion in ukraine. We watched a video on it at school and that night I cried i was so scared. 30 years later its still the most radioactive place in the world and no one lives there. I'm not afraid that a nuclear explosion will happen where i live, i don't know why i'm so scared but it freaks the crap out of me. I can barely sleep at night now and i hate going in the dark. What do i do? I really dont want to spend the rest of my life sared of something that happened 30 years ago.

*|| SkyClan Rules and Map ||*

Welcome to SkyClan, a clan that accepts wings, powers, and the likes. First we'll start off with some rules.
1) No godmodding, powerplaying, or anything unrealistic.
2) No mating in camp. Please, take it somewhere else.
3) Nothing inappropriate. No swears, jokes or anything non-kid friendly.
4) Have fun!
5) Follow the rules... leader's word is law...

Now. On to SkyClan.
SkyClan is on a mountain, so there may be harsh snows, mountain lions, wolves, or bears. A thick pinewood forest is at the base of the mountain, but higher up is a treacherous maze of ice and rock. SkyClan is located between these two, in a smallish system of caves.
However, there can also be floods in the summer from glaciers, animal attacks, and the occasional hiker. SkyClan is not sheltered from these events. Streams thaw in the summer, freeze in the winter, and there is not much shrubbery, just the occasional dead bush or oak tree. There are no willows or birches on this mountain.

&#9812 MAP &#9812
Res 1~ here | Res 2 ~ Weather; check daily! | Res 3~ Bios | Res 4~ Leader's den | Res 5~ Main Camp | Res 6~ Warriors Den | Res 7~ Apprentice's den | Res 8~ Stream | Res 9~ Pinewood forest | Res 10~ Steep Cliff
Have Fun!
