This book claim for fame; is false. The text is very basic and there are no outstanding method of plant equipment layout that is provided, and lack what is most required the use of above brochure and catalog level knowledge. The information is mere introductory and not sufficient for pipe install and design work.

This book is one of the BEST reference materials in my library. I have used it many times in my design work for refreshers and ideas. I was fortunate enough to take the course offered by the author and his associates through a professional organization where this book was the textbook. These people that were involved in the writing and references of this book have many years of experience and study. They have incorporated this experience and teach proven techniques in workable, constructable, and economical ideas. It is written for most all to understand and comprehend, covers many topics, and stimulates thinking of alternatives to the 'same old same old' that so many of us were used to. Answers to the 'why' questions come to light in their 'easy to follow' explanations. Buy it, Read it, and Study it. I have yet to find a better one!!! Just a note of THANKS to the authors and their associates.
