The adventure continues for Chance and Ana in book 2 of The Shapeshifter Chronicles

In Clark Bend, Idaho, Chance Morgan's dreams are haunted by the last moments shared with his grandfather. Memories of the fateful day when he died plague his thoughts, and without his grandfather's council, his shapeshifting powers mysteriously fail him. Desperate to seek out a new mentor and learn more about the mystical world he was sheltered from, Chance must travel far from home to hunt for answers.

Eighteen-year-old, Ana Hughes has only known Chance for a few months, but he quickly found his way into her heart. Since being rescued from Chance's power-hungry cousin, and coming back from death, Ana is unwilling to leave his side, and joins him on his quest to the Yucatan in search of a new mentor.

When Chance's memories fall into place and reveal a threat from their past, Chance and Ana must fight to survive – or die trying.

In Book 2 of the Shapeshifter Chronicles, author Natasha Brown continues the warm, courageous love story of Ana and Chance, as well adds to the incredibly interesting shapeshifting lore she has created. At the end of Fledgling, I was so excited to see where the author would take her unique world building, and I was not disappointed. I was totally enthralled by the exciting action, new characters, and cultural nuances in Prodigy. It was especially refreshing to see Mayan culture woven into the pl

This book is a follow up book to Fledgling: The Shapeshifter Chronicles which I read and reviewed in February 2012.

Like the first book, this was a very solid story. The flow of the writing was smooth and concise, the plot line engaging and descriptive. The characters that I had really enjoyed in the first book were brought to life even more within this sequel.

The speed of the storyline was quicker than the first one and that was good for me. I read very quickly and I like my

The second book in The Shapeshifter Cronicles takes us on the continued journey of Ana and Chance as they go in search of a new mentor to help with Chance's failing powers. This journey is about discovering ones own abilities and strengths, learning to trust your instincts, and the depth of love constantly shimmering between Ana and Chance. An excellent follow up from the first book, I look forward to reading book three of The Shapeshifter Cronicles. A job well done, Ms. Brown!

Love the story but the e-book is poorly edited. Chopped up sentences and chapters make it difficult to follow. At times had to go back and re-read a sentence to make sure I got it right.

Prodigy is the fun and exciting book two in The Shapeshifter Chronicles. Ana and Chance are in search of answers in book, searching for a new mentor for Chance. Their search takes them to Mexico, to the Yucatan. And what they find there is answers but also more trouble. As Chance learns more about his abilities, Ana learns how to protect herself. She also discovers something she never expected. The second book gives us answers, but it also leaves us with more questions and wanting more! I look forward to the next book in series, and I'm anxious to see how things pan out for Chance and Ana now that Mrs. Brown has adding in a shocking twist! If you haven't read book two yet, wait no longer! Grab your copy now!

This was a great book in the shapeshifter chronicles series. I mean WOW. This was such a great adventure when Chance and Ana went searching for Chance's mentor, and they both learned SO much from Balam. This was a teriffic sequel t the first book, I can't wait to buy the 3rd and read it. If you haven't started this series, it's time to! The first book is free, and the other books are for 3.99 dollars each, but it's definitely worth the money! Books in the series(In order): Fledgling, Prodigy, Emergent, and Ascension.

This utterly charming tale was delightful to read. The interaction of characters was believable, and the love of family refreshing. Can't wait to follow the adventures of Chance and his Navaho special gifts into the future.
