I wasn't sure at first what to expect. The publisher, Course Technology, tends to stick to technical subjects like C++. I hadn't seen any front-end development stuff from them, but it turns out they did a good job with this. The book is structured like a textbook, which some people won't be used to, but helps to cement the information in your head - and you can still flip back and forth like a reference book. I used to rely on Lynda Weinman's books, but they are so full of inaccuracies and obsolete information that I had to find something more up-to-date. This book seems complete and accurate, and includes a fair bit on emerging formats and technology. I strongly recommend that people start treating this as the new Web graphics bible. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
