This book is excellent and should aid the police in the apprehension of the McCanns...
I am surprised that this hasn't been put on the telly!
Well done and good luck getting the truth out there...
I have also read Kate McCanns book it seems to be a far cry from the truth, just words made to placate people who might not believe the lies they have spread.

A very strange network of power surrounds the Mccanns and getting an impartial expert analysis of the situation to the public is a feat in itself. The McCanns already used their £500 ph solicitors to have it removed from another sellers site. Just one little letter and "whoosh" it was gone! Of course they aren't ordinary solicitors they are Carter Ruck, famous for hiding the sordid details of Trafigura for their clients and even attempting to stop it being debated in parliament.
This book is worth buying and reading as it is written by a criminal profiler with no axe to grind, just the knowledge experience and expertise to analyse the events on the night and the subsequent behaviour of the parents.

Well worth to read.
I wonder why this great objective opinion is making mccanns sweat.
Really great to have it here, after Amazon "banned" it in request of mccanns and their beloved Carter Ruck.
It's not the first book (forum/blog) Mccanns try to bully with Carter Ruck. They went great lengts to bann Dr. Amarals book about the PJ investigation. They lost, and are still not giving back his books. We will see them in court.

I Also Recommend:
Basic Misinformation in Brown's Profile
That the McCanns may have "sedated" their children with Calpol.
False. Calpol is not a sedative. See NEW page about Calpol.
That Matt Oldfield performed a check on the McCann children at 8.35pm
False. He did an outside listening check at approx 9.00pm and an inside listening check at approximately 9.30pm.
That the McCanns changed their stories regarding the apartment doors being locked and unlocked
False - see section on locks below
That the sniffer dogs indicated that "Madeleine McCann's body" had lain in the McCann's apartment and been transported in their rental car
It is false to claim that the dogs alerted to "Madeleine McCann's body". These sniffer dogs cannot differentiate between individuals. In the Shannon Matthews case, sniffer dogs "indicated" at second hand furniture whose previous owner had died. The fact that Shannon was subsequently found alive substantiates the reason why dog alerts on their own are not considered "evidence". See this article on the dogs for a more detailed description of how they work.
That the police were called at 10.40.
False. The police arrived around this time. According to the witness statements of the Ocean Club receptionist (see below), the police were called immediately following a phonecall from restaurant staff. When the police had not arrived by around 10.30pm, they were called a second time at the request of Gerry McCann. By this time, there were many guests and staff searching the complex and surrounding streets for Madeleine.
That it was necessary to stand on a bed in the children's room in order to climb in or out of the window
False. Click to read more.
That the McCanns "insist" that the Smith sighting of a man carrying a child at the Rua da Escola Primaria "had nothing to do with her disappearance" something which she states "further supports a cover-up rather than a real abduction".
Totally false. The opposite is true. Click to read more.
That Jane Tanner didn't tell the McCanns about her sighting of a man carrying a child "in the days to come" following Madeleine's abduction.
Misleading. Jane Tanner did not discuss this with the McCanns as she did not wish to add to their torment. She did however quickly report her sighting to the police, who informed Gerry McCann on the same night Madeleine disappeared.
That the McCanns have not "properly accounted" for the Madeleine Fund.
False. In fact, it is a fundamental requirement under UK law that they provide such accounts annually.
Brown says "and concerning answers and behaviors on the part of the McCanns and their friends. Gerry did one interview as an arguido, but Kate refused to answer questions. "

What a terrible way to try to make a buck! All the info in this book is freely available in forums all over the net. What a rip off.

There has been too much speculation about this case, often based on feelings rather than fact. Most of us are guilty of this because our emotions run high when a case involves the disappearance of a small child. This case will never progress if we let our feelings cloud our judgement.
Therefore an analysis of the facts was long overdue and who better to do this than an experienced profiler?
Pat Brown takes you through the events step-by-step, eliminating possibilities along the way, and coming to a logical conclusion. Please bear in mind that this profile is based on the facts currently available, and there may well be some evidence that has not been made public yet.
I advise anyone interested in this case to read this profile. If you believe in the parents version of events, you will have a clearer idea of what Kate and Gerry need to do to alleviate suspicions. If you don't believe the parents are telling the whole truth, then this book will clarify which aspects of their statements contradict the physical evidence.

This is dreadful. Crammed full of forum myths and nothing more. This "author" has correctly been banned from Amazon for peddling this rubbish and I hope she's banned from here too.

This does not deserve even one star. The author has clearly not taken the time to read and understand the official police files, and it is littered with the kind of sloppy errors that have made Ms Brown a laughing stock with real, qualified profilers in the States.
Far from adding insight, it is nothing more than a mishmash of discredited tabloid stories and forum myths and is not worth 2 cents, far less $2.99.

I have seen enough of this woman's work to know that I would not ever consider buying one of her works of fiction.
This is a person who is definitely out to make money off the back of a suffering family,as apparently she has done before over other cases.
This is a person who has not read the full facts of the case or given it very much consideration at all.
This is a person who frequently appears on a very suspect facebook page whose sole aim is to bring the McCann family down and see them in jail.
This is a person who begs these people on said forum to go and review her book and lo and behold they obey her and do so.
What kind of person this is I will leave to you to decide.

Oh puleeze have you read this garbage?
This "book" has been written form the mind of a so-called Criminal Profiler. The same person who has now taken out a lawsuit against the parents of the missing child.
Go hang your head in shame you parasite..............this is all make belief.
I cannot even comment on the theory of this person as it is just too ridiculous...............listen y'all, don't waste your dollars on this. It would be of better use in the bathroom.
Keep taking the meds lady.

Overview
What really happened to Madeleine Beth McCann in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007? Was she abducted as the Gerry and Kate have claimed or did something happen to Madeleine on May 3 in the vacation apartment and the incident covered up? Criminal Profiler Pat Brown analyzes the evidence and takes the readers through the steps of profiling, developing a theory that is intriguing and controversial.
