    Great for an intro class

We use this book as a textbook in my C++ Intro class in High School. It's definitely inclined for the new-to-programming.. it explains most everything in great detail. It doesn't get into more advanced stuff, but for a primer in C++ this book is excellent. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because in my other book (Practical C++ Programming; O'Reilly) it touches on a few tips/tricks/shortcuts not addressed in this book. Not major, but simple and important enough to know and use.
