    Read my mind

    Boy, I thought I must have been the only one who thought about her husbands funeral, with joy and anticipation. Not anymore though. We are doing our own project now, based on the excellent ideas and guidance of this book. We are still working on it and making progress. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

    Excellent read

    I thought this book was excellent - as someone having marital difficuties it was great to read about someone going through some of the same experiences. I was able to read the book in one night!

    Revealing, shockingly truthful...and worth the read

    Are you married and cannot remember exactly why? Or, you actually do remember why, but it isn't enough to reignite the deep love and appreciation? Or...you've mentally planned your spouse's funeral...just saying... If any of the aforementioned applies to you, then this book will captivate you. Bowman's willingness to open up about some awfully dark moments in her marriage (as well as her husband's willingness to allow these stories to be told) allows readers to laugh, cry and reflect with her. In essence, Bowman was in the middle of devising an elaborate divorce/"funeral" when she realized that her marriage might still have a fighting chance. Through various self-help books, advice from friends, and some trial-and-error, Bowman and her husband try to save their marriage in four month's time. If you're more flight than fight within your marriage at this time, this book is comfort within the storm. The information shared is delivered like that you'd receive from a friend.
