Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble

When Project Runway premiered on Bravo in December 2004, even its most optimistic promoter had no idea that it was destined to become one of the runaway hits of the decade; nor did any of them imagine the momentous effect that it would have on fashion. Now, ten seasons and over a dozen international spinoffs later, the groundbreaking reality show continues to inspire students and professional alike. Eila Mell's Project Runway takes readers into the show from blueprint thru rollout and beyond. A trade paperback original; editor's recommendation.

From the Publisher

"An inside look at all the glitz and glamour, blood, sweat, tears, and trends that make fashion shows and fashion such a magic and mystical ride." -Phillip Bloch on author's previous book, New York Fashion Week

This is a fabulous book. I love Project Runway. I thought I knew

This is a fabulous book. I love Project Runway. I thought I knew all about the show. However, I learned many behind the scenes information from reading this book. It is great to hear from judges, contestants, and producers about things that the viewers don't see. This book is a must-read for fashion lovers and Project Runway fans. This book is certainly in. I hope that Project Runway runs for at least ten more seasons.
