Overview

“I think something might have happened to me Saturday night. Something bad.”

Private Investigator Dani Ripper’s client list is nuttier than the Looney Tunes conga line, but she diligently solves one crazy case after another, waiting for a game-changer.

Enter Riley Freeman, 17-year-old honor student.

Saturday afternoon Riley quietly placed a little strawberry sticker on her private area and pretended it was a tattoo. She didn’t tell anyone about it. That night she went to a slumber party that featured drinking and boys. Riley fell asleep, woke up the next day with no reason to think anything happened…

…Until Monday, at school, when a classmate called her Strawberry.

Coincidence or crime? Dani agrees to investigate. And the roller coaster ride begins.

Really, really bad, on all levels. One of the worst books I have read in the two years I have had my nook. The cursing was horrible, there was explicict same gender sex, the plot was boring, the dialog horrendous, the characters unlikable, the length too long for the storyline. I will stop at this, as my complaints would drag on longer then the book. Save yourself from teeth grinding frustration and skip this one. Even though free, I want my money back for reading it. AD

This book definitely is not for everyone. The language and subject matter might offend some. Personally I did not find it too offensive, more worrisome then anything else. The subject matter is definitely for adults--do not let your teens read this one. It goes into some graphic detail about what happens to a girl at a party. There is a total twist at the end which I found intriguing. I just hope I never meet any teens like these!! I think I may try one of this authors other series "Donavan's Creed" which are thrillers and possibly more to my taste.

Another John Locke hit....his style is direct, simple and yet captivating. This is light reading that's fun to read with lots of interesting twist, turns and irreverent wit. These stories are just what you need when you need to laugh, gasp and just omg while being entertained.
