Overview

What’s a college senior to do when her two younger sisters are left on her doorstep? She promises her sisters that she’d take care of them and then tries to make that a reality. Karyn’s job searches lead her down a surprising path – Surrogacy. It provided just the right amount of financial assistance necessary to keep her small family together and out of the clutches of the system.
Cannon had made a promise to his dying wife to continue expanding their family with a surrogate. He’d put it off for over two years and finally found someone willing to meet all his late wife’s requirements. He should be happy, but he wasn’t.
Cannon and Karyn clash as each strives to fulfill their promises to someone else. By the time their child arrives, each has their own version of Promises Kept.

Although it was slow in the beginning, I really enjoyed the story between Karyn and Cannon. I'm looking forward to read Andrei and Stanton stories. I would have given the story 5 stars. I definitely will be reading this book again and more books from Ms. Erosa Knowles

Very sweet and enjoyable read. Few editing spots, but nothing that took away from the story. I enjoyed the attraction that brewed between Cannon and Karyn. Will definitely be read again in the future.

Beautiful and different storyline. The male character had a lot of alpha tendencies, but that was hiding his caring side. Full lenght book at almost 500 pages. Definitely worth your time.

This was a very different kind of romance with a big focus on family and enough twist and turns to keep it interesting.

This was an awesome read. Erosa tells a story of a promise that husband made to his dying wife and despite his objections and reservations, he tries to keep that promise. Karyn has taken on the job of being a surrogate. She is willing to do what it takes to take care of her family and she accomplishes that. She is responsible for her two young sisters and her ailing aunt. She is a very strong character. Cannon who is the male lead is stubborn and quite determined in the beginning, but comes around. I became wrapped up in the emotions of all the characters and the twists of the story. The side characters/plots make the book a little more interesting and draws out the emotions of the main characters. The story line was tender and touching with a few areas of drama. There were a lot of side characters in this read. But in my opinion, it makes it that much better. This was a very good read and we highly recommend it. Tasha, Divas of the Serengeti Book Club

It's been a while since I felt like giving an IR book five stars. After reading the first 196 pages of this book I felt it deserves five stars. Apart from a few grammatical errors that were minor that caused me to take back a half star, the book was great. Different than what I usually find in the limited amount of IR books that I see on sale. This was serious but hilariously funny(if those two words can go together.) I totally enjoyed it. I'll be reading this a few more times so I'm recommending it as one you must check out. Great job Miss Knowles.
