GENRE: Medical Romance, Contemporary Western Romance, Erotica ménage romance, (MFM), Cowboy cop

Killing is wrong. The reason doesn’t matter.

When oncology nurse, Amber Delacroix, learns her reckless brother has been in a paralyzing motorcycle accident, sorrow fills her soul. He’s murdered a few days later, and now she’s utterly devastated. Adding to life’s cruelty, the cowboy cop assigned to her brother’s case brings her in for questioning.

Stone Benson, the paramedic who brought Amber’s brother into the hospital, stays by her side throughout the tragedy. He treats her with kindness and compassion—something she hasn’t experienced much in her life. Amber yearns for more than his comforting words, and they embark on a tremulous journey. Just when she feels that their relationship is at a turning point, he reveals that he likes to share his women with his good friend and roommate, Cade. That turns out to be a huge problem, because Cade is the cop who believes she’s guilty of killing her brother.

As chance would have it, another murder occurs when both Cade and Amber are in the same location. Realizing she’s not the mercy killer, Cade offers a heartfelt apology—one that includes dinner and a sharing of souls. When things heat up between them, she succumbs to his passionate ways. The big question that plagues her now is where does Stone fit in?

Stone knows exactly where Amber needs to be. Right between him and his best friend, Cade. He'll do whatever is necessary to convince her that she has finally met two men she can trust and build a life with.

Too bad the killer has other ideas. When he goes after Amber, what will the men need to do to save her in time to pursue a loving ménage relationship?

    Great Book!

A great new series! The story line was exciting while the characters had such depth and emotion that you felt like you knew them. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one. :0)

I usualy buy my books acording to reviews. I am so glad I didn't pay attention this time. With only two reviews I took a shot and bought the book after reading the sample. This was not the best book I ever read but it was the best menage. It has a storyline it sticks to and leads you from begining to end with suspense, sadness, love, laughter and friendship.
The only thing I have to agree with the single bad review is some of the wording in the sex scenes. There are nicer ways to refer to genitalia than were used. But it didn't hurt the story. My brain just traded words and kept going. But if I have to say something bad, that would be it.
I would definitly recomend the series to anyone who likes menage books.

I usually buy all the available books in a series at one time. I'm so very glad I didn't this time. Because this book was awful.

I swear the person writing this (just can't bring myself to call her an author) did absolutely no research. The three main characters were an oncology nurse, a homocide detective and a parametic. Fairly weighty professions that should have merited at least some research to write about but nope. This writer just wrote whatever she wanted, however she wanted.

As an example of the complete lack of continuity, Cade's eye's weren't even the same shade of blue in the same sentence.

The writing style reminded me of the Dick and Jane books. I've had 3 year olds tell me more complex, better thought out stories. Most 3 yr. olds seem more mature, too.

As far as the erotica elements went, I suppose the person writing probably read some forums somewhere or watched a few 1970's adult movies for ideas and wording. Just about that caliber.

Yes, this review may seem harsh. I'm fairly ticked at spending money on something that was absolutely, completely, and totally horrible.

Was there anything possibly redeeming about this book? The editing for spelling and punctuation was fairly good. However, if you only use words found in the vocabulary of your average 3 yr. old (outside of the sexual elements), how hard could the editing be?

Take a pass on this book. Read anything else. Anything
