About the Author

Kush Misra is a senior technology executive and enterprise strategist with over 25 years of experience leading global technology, data and digital transformation in the life sciences industry. He most recently served as Vice President, Business CIO and Head of IT Business Systems at Gilead Sciences, where he led the overall IT strategy and all business technology functions including R&D, Pharmaceutical Development and Manufacturing (PDM), Supply Chain, Commercial, ERP, G&A, and Centers of Excellence (COE’s) for Agile, Automation and Continuous Improvement. Prior to that, he was Corporate and Global Head of Commercial IT at Gilead, with a focus on Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Omnichannel enablement for delivery of content and information, Market and Value Access for global pricing, rebates and chargebacks, analytics and helping marketing and sales teams build competitive advantage using technology.

Kush has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and has held leadership roles across all IT functions at top-tier pharma and biotech companies. His work has shaped AI adoption roadmaps, GenAI agent frameworks, and enterprise governance models in highly regulated environments.
