    A SMOOTH READ

    Although a book may be a good read ... it may not always be a smooth read. It's a pleasure to read a book where the author visually paints the scenes and character interactions so seamlessly that reading it is almost effortless. There are no awkward moments or misconceptions during the author's telling of "The Prospect."

    "The Prospect" is a smooth read.

    Even for those of us who are not educated in the sport of baseball, the lingo and technicalities of the game are easily understandable and entertaining. The game itself seems to take on characterization.

    "The Prospect is intertwined with memorable characters, love, mystery, conflict, and family. The small town setting gives this modern day story a nostalgic feel. It's a comforting yet compelling read. I recommend it highly.
