Overview

Steve Groner has been a certified computing professional since 1985 with over 25 years of information technology experience in both the public and private sectors. He has had the opportunity to instruct at the collegiate level, most recently at Oklahoma State University Okmulgee, where he taught e-commerce and computer security classes. He brought actual case studies to the classroom so his students could have a feel for how identity theft occurs. Steve's students were able to utilize the skills learned in real-world situations. Their responses to his methods inspired him to bring this knowledge to the general public. Identity theft is America's fastest-growing crime, annually affecting 10 million people and costing over $50 billion. Steve brings this same type of style to his book. The reader will have a feel of how theft occurs and the knowledge of what to do to protect your good name!

    Highly Recommended - Valuable Information

This should be on everyone's reading list. You think you're being careful, yet this opened my eyes. When making a purchase, I don't always look at my card when someone hands it back to me to be sure it is actually my card - especially when I'm in a restaurant with friends and we're busy talking. Quick and easy to read, so you can immediately take steps to protect your identity. I'm sending to my son at college.
