Reminds me of my favorite stories!

I loved this book! It's similar to Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and UnEnchanted in that it's a coming of age for a girl with hard circumstances and deep family secrets. She finds she has gifts and strength beyond her own belief. There are some unexpected twists too. The author is very imaginative and descriptive. She weaves some great details into the plot so pay attention as you read!

    wow!

Seraphina spent her summer training and training and training. She has become an expert fighter and now has the skills it will take to take out Cece and the Underground. She will do whatever it takes to get her mother back...even keep secrets from Bishop. But soon Sera realizes she is not the only one keeping secrets. It seems that everyone she loves and trusts is keeping just as many. In the end Sera learns that everyone has a choice to make.

I am not going to go into a long spiel except to say that this book snuck up on me. Boy did it ever. I was happily reading along and then BAM! I was taken aback. What started out as a rather slow beginning soon picked up speed towards the end. But before we get to that crazy, epic, cliffhanger… I found secrets were flying out at me left and right. Some things, like in book one, don't get answered. But man does it leave a taste for what is to come in book 3. Some of these revelations are a doozy. And Sera will be left reeling, trying to put the pieces of her life back together when all is said and done.

Loved Turner. Absolutely, loved him. I am folding out lots and lots of hope for him in the coming book. I know once you read PROTECTING TRUTH you will think I have lost it, but seriously, I am holding out. Things cannot just end like that. Warren do you hear what I am saying? Lets right some wrongs, shall we?

I most definitely recommend this book (and series) beyond a shadow of a doubt. Pick this book up(or both of them) today and prepare yourself for an amazing adventure packed with romance, mystery, and suspense.

This is an amazing sequel that enhances the first book even more! The author, Michelle, has a tremendous talent and her writing just pulls you into the world of wandering. I became so emotionally vested in this book that it had me laughing-out-loud, sobbing at the end, and even had me dreaming about the holograms (so amazing!). The book leaves you thirsting for more of this wandering world which is just indescribably (well, Michelle can describe it much better than I ever could) ultra cool! The chemistry between the lead characters is electrifying and you won't be able to put the book down. By far, this is one of the best books I've read in a loooooong time! I highly recommend it, but make sure you read Wander Dust first! You won't be disappointed learning about and becoming a part of the Society of Wanderers. Can't wait for the third book!

    Protecting Truth

I loved this book so much and it completely shocked me as so many secrets were revealed throughout the book. Some parts made me laugh and others ticked me off but reading this series is just amazing. The world of the Wanderers was so intricately designed and so detailed that you can imagine being there yourself. And the way the story went with all its unique twists and turns made the book special in its own way.

I was thrilled to continue the journey with Sera and her team, and when Turner was thrown into the mix, the emotional rollercoaster ride I’d been enjoying since book one reached pivotal heights.

Warren continued to masterfully weave a web so fragile it could destroy her character’s lives, while pushing them to their limits. Nothing about this story was predictable and the many twists and turns made my head spin, but in the most exciting and enthralling way. The romance ignited and the mystery intensified. I found myself questioning everything that happened, because I knew it would link up to the past or present, somewhere along the way, and I kept wondering who to trust; who was friend and who was foe.

I have never loved and hated a character at the same time, but Bishop churned these conflicting emotions within me. My heart broke for him and a second later I wanted to punch him in the face for his deceit. My heart melted, hardened and then shattered so many times I’m not sure if I’ll fully recover. Especially after that final battle, when loyalties were tested and devastation ensued.

Warren is an amazing writer. Each chapter ended with a cliffhanger, and I could not for the life of me, and the characters I’ve grown to love so much, put this book down even for a second. This was an absolutely brilliant follow up to Wander Dust.

This is the 2nd book in the Seraphina Parrish trilogy, continuing the story that started with "Wander Dust." A lot of teenage love angst in this read, but the plot still keeps moving as Sera learns more about being a Wanderer and sets the stage for the final book in the series. The book title captures a recurring theme as new layers of truth are uncovered.

    Fun!

I was a bit disappointed that "Protecting Truth" was so much shorter than "Wander Dust", but only because these books are so enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the final book in the Seraphina Parrish Trilogy, but I certainly hope it's not the last that we hear from Warren and her Wandering world.

Sera is learning to defend herself with the help of Turner and she is trying to keep it secret from her team. She doesn't want Bishop to think she doubts he can protect her or that she is working that closely with his twin. The truth is she wants to go back and rescue her mom and doesn't want her team to know what she has planned. The trouble begins when Sera and Turner share a kiss and lots of secrets start unraveling.

I enjoyed Sera a lot in this book. She does some foolish things but in fact she is doing them to try and save her mom. At first when it started going towards a love triangle I thought I would be put off but in truth it works out and never really gets to that stage. Bishop you find out lots more about him in this book that may just change your mind about him. Now on to Turner well you know he is hot cause he is Bishop's twin after all but they are so different. He is an amazing character and I will say I am team Turner something I didn't think I would be when I started reading this book. You also get to see lots of the other characters you got to meet in Wander Dust and several of them will leave you shocked.

Can I just say Michelle Warren is an amazing writer. This is a series that really should get more hype than it does. You just want to go up to people and say read this!!! This second book in The Seraphina Parrish Trilogy will leave you feeling wrung out emotionally and wanting so much more. The time travel as usually is fantastic but the character development is what it is about in this book for me. Be prepared for loads of bomb shells and secrets coming to life in this book. Don't think yo know all about the characters cause this book will prove you wrong. want a wonderful time traveling series with a little bit of everything pick up this series and give it a try.
