    Catherine Mann pens another exhilarating Dark Ops Novel in the Protector.

    Captain Chuck Tanaka is convinced he no longer has what it takes to fulfill his role in the dark ops team. After barely surviving a horrific torture he no longer trust his instincts. But Chuck agrees to another mission, this one has him undercover on a luxury cruise ship overseas. The teams mission is to find evidence of the cruise lines owner a notorious mob boss. Chuck is assigned to watch the mob bosses daughter Jolynn Taylor.

    Jolynn Taylor has made a life for herself far away from her father’s reach. When her dad’s illness has him on deaths door Jolynn returns home hoping to make some type of peace with him and his lifestyle. She no sooner sets aboard the ship when she is in the crosshairs of a killer. Next thing she knows she is on the run with the man she has just met Charles Tomas. Jolynn must put her trust in this stranger if she wants to stay alive.

    To get Jolynn to fully trust him, Chuck reveals his true identity to her. Being on the run they forge a relationship that goes beyond friendship. Jolynn posses for Chuck someone he can trust and give his heart to, but will Jolynn return that love when she realizes his mission is to bring her father down?

    The Protector will keep you glued to each and every page. The intrigue is pulse pounding and riveting. The passion between Chuck and Jolynn sizzles every time they are together. You rout for these two lovers to find their way to happiness. Looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series.

    Too good to put down

    The only bad thing about reading a Catherine Mann book in one sitting, as I did this one, is waiting for the next book.
